Saturday,
A day dedicated to Saturn,
The Roman god of agriculture and time,
Reflecting on themes of harvest and cyclical change.
As we draw to a close,
We are left with Saturday and it is appropriately associated with themes of harvest and cyclical change.
We move through numerous aspects of cycles,
A day,
Week,
Month,
Year,
Milestones within our lives and memories that stand out to us.
At each point in a cycle,
We come out at the other end and we can reflect on what we have just passed through.
Those passages of time teach us what we have come to learn,
The lessons and wisdom that we can now apply to our lives as we enter our next phase.
In this lesson,
I want us to take a look at what you have harvested over your lifetime.
The seeds that you have sown,
That you have reaped and also what you would like to enter into for your next chapters.
We are in a continual cycle of planting seeds,
Harvesting and then planting new ones.
We may not view our lives in that manner,
But that is what we do.
We decide on a project or a dream we hold and we enter into a cycle where we go about bringing it into our reality.
As we do that,
We evolve as people and so do our goals and desires and we move into each new iteration of ourselves a slightly different person,
Someone who has been shaped and formed by their experiences.
It is like a shift of a kaleidoscope where we turn the dial and a new pattern is formed.
It's important for us to recognise that if the patterns we see in our lives do not suit us or are not bringing us the happiness we thought they would,
We are able to enter into a new seed planting cycle and begin to make small shifts and nurture new ideas about what we would like to pursue.
Cycles form patterns in our lives and we can use them as signposts as to whether we want more of that experience in our lives or less.
In many ways,
We can become habituated in our actions and so therefore we don't always take the time out to reflect or review what we are doing in our lives and whether it's working for us.
On certain times in the calendar,
We will make conscious choices to reflect,
Such as on birthdays or New Year's Day,
But we don't have to wait for a specific day on the calendar to take this action and we can intentionally choose what we would like to encourage in our lives and what we would like to remove anytime we wish.
We can reflect on our past experiences and take what value that they brought us and embed that knowledge into making new choices for ourselves.
With that in mind,
Take your notebook and take some time to answer the following journal prompts.
What do you feel that you have harvested in your life?
It could be a range from lessons you've learnt to people you've met and achievements you've attained.
Think of your life as a field of seeds that you've planted that you were able to grow to fruition.
What are some of the most valuable lessons and insights you've garnered from your lived experiences that you apply to your life now that benefit you?
What new seeds would you like to plant and grow moving forward?
You can always come back to these journal prompts and expand on them as you wish at any moment in time.
Now let's move on to our affirmation session.
Take a full deep breath,
Inhale through your nose,
Allow your belly to fill up with air and then slowly exhale with a sigh.
Release the tension in your jaw,
Drop your shoulders and allow your whole body to relax.
Repeat these statements to yourself out loud after me or say them silently within.
Alternatively,
Just listen and let them soak into your consciousness.
I create space in my life for new growth and opportunities.
I recognize and celebrate the seeds I have sown and nurtured to fruition.
My past experiences have enriched me with wisdom and strength.
I take time to review,
Reflect and rejuvenate with intention.
Each phase of my life brings valuable insights and growth.
I am continually evolving and embracing new opportunities.
I have the power to plant new seeds and create the future I desire.
I trust in the cycles of life and find beauty in change.
I learn from my past and apply it with wisdom.
I am able to create new opportunities.
I learn from my past and apply its wisdom to my present and future.
I choose to nurture new ideas that align with my joy and purpose.
I hope that this course and the affirmation sessions serve as a daily reminder of the power you hold within yourself.
Come back and listen as often as you can.
Or incorporate listening to one daily as part of your morning ritual.
