The fourth practice in a series exploring the foundations of mindfulness, inspired by the Buddha's teachings in the Satipatthana Sutta. In this meditation, we gently explore feeling tone - the immediate quality of experience as pleasant, unpleasant, or neutral. By bringing mindful awareness to these subtle experiences, we begin to recognise their existence - and how they shape our reactions and habitual patterns. Through calm observation of feeling tone, the practice cultivates greater clarity, balance, and freedom, allowing us to meet each moment with less reactivity and greater presence and wisdom.
