By the end, you’ll feel lighter, more comforted, and deeply supported from within as you move through your day with self-compassion.

Welcome to Affirmations to Nurture Self-Compassion.

This is your time to soften,

To release self-criticism and to nurture compassion for yourself.

Take a deep breath in and slowly exhale.

Let your body relax.

Know that you are safe in this space of kindness.

Close your eyes and bring your hand to your heart.

Inhale gently,

Feeling your chest rise beneath your hand,

And exhale slowly,

Releasing tension.

With each breath,

Imagine a warm light glowing in your heart,

The light of compassion.

This light goes stronger with every inhale and softer with every exhale.

Now repeat these affirmations silently or aloud,

Or let my voice carry the energy into your energy system.

Let these words flow into your heart like words of comfort from a dear friend.

I treat myself with kindness and care.

I release harsh self-judgment and I welcome understanding.

I am gentle with myself as I grow and learn.

I am worthy of love,

Especially my own.

Compassion flows through me,

Healing and comforting me.

I forgive myself and honor my journey.

As these affirmations settle into you,

Notice how your body has softened,

How your heart has opened,

How your spirit feels more steady.

I'm going to read them through one more time for you,

And again you can repeat them out loud or in your head,

Or you can let my voice carry the energy for you.

This time,

Really let each one settle in and feel the truth of it throughout your system.

I treat myself with kindness and care.

I release harsh self-judgment and I welcome understanding.

I am gentle with myself as I grow and learn.

I am worthy of love,

Especially my own.

Compassion flows through me,

Healing and comforting me.

I forgive myself and I honor my journey.

Take one last deep breath in,

Filling yourself with self-compassion,

And as you exhale,

Let it surround you like a warm hug.

When you're ready,

Gently open your eyes,

Knowing that this energy is all around you always.

And step forward into your day holding kindness for yourself,

Just as you would for someone you love.
