Feeling a bit off but also feeling like you are short on time? Take one minute here to mindfully bring your awareness back to yourself in the present moment. Allow yourself a few breaths to ground and center before returning to your day. This meditation does not include an ending bell.

Transcript

This is a quick centering and grounding practice.

Finding a comfortable seat,

Bringing awareness to the body,

Settling in,

Noticing where your body is being supported,

Maybe by the floor or a chair,

And feeling that support,

Grounding into it,

Inhaling and lengthening the spine,

Lifting the crown of the head towards the sky and feeling even more settled,

Bringing awareness to the breath,

Feeling the ribcage opening up on the inhale and relaxing on the exhale,

Taking a few natural breaths here,

And whenever you're ready,

Opening your eyes and bringing awareness back to the present moment.
