A place for magical meditation to nurture your soul and awaken your potential.
My name is Astral Shaman,
Your host and humble guide.
In this meditation we will use the mysterious power of sacred smoke to cleanse our spirit,
Release what no longer serves us and embrace any part of our self that is ready to step forward.
Let's begin by closing our eyes,
Allowing our bodies to relax in a comfortable position and bring your attention first of all to the breath.
Just notice your in-breath and your out-breath.
No need to breathe any particular way or try to control it at this time.
Just notice and allow your breathing to flow naturally and as you watch your breath you notice it gradually and easily starts to slow down to longer more relaxed inhale and exhale.
As we watch our breathing you notice the room becoming darker,
The focus becoming more on the breath.
As you continue to breathe in you begin to imagine you have arrived in front of a secret dwelling,
The healing lodge of a wise and powerful shaman.
They welcome you with a warm and reassuring smile,
Inviting you to enter the healing lodge behind them.
As you enter the shaman's dwelling you see a large fire pit in the middle of a dark room.
You sit beside the fire watching the wooden log spark,
The white wood smoke rises up and out through an opening in the roof into the sky above.
As you watch the comforting flames the wise shaman sits opposite you on the other side of the fire.
The smell of the smoke is sweet and fragrant like incense.
The shaman throws a fresh log of wood onto the fire,
A burst of sparks and embers rise up into the white smoke,
A sense of magic and wonder fills the air.
The shaman asks you to choose a log and throw it into the fire.
Images appear in the smoke as the log burns,
The sacred smoke reveals what you are ready to let go of,
Any false ideas,
Limiting beliefs,
Whatever still lingers that has reached the end of its time,
Anything that no longer serves you.
As you watch the log burn the shaman swirls the smoke around you,
Cleansing your spirit,
Clearing away anything heavy from your heart and mind.
As the log burns in the fire,
Burning away any false beliefs about yourself,
Any masks you have worn,
Any roles you have played that no longer serve you.
You see anything that is being let go burn away in the fire.
As you let it all go,
Allowing the smoke to carry them away up into the sky above,
Ready to become something new,
The shaman asks you to throw another log on the fire,
You gaze into the flickering flames as this new log burns,
The smoke reveals aspects of yourself that are ready to be embraced,
Parts of your spirit that are ready to be nurtured,
Ready to grow and bloom into their full potential,
Parts of yourself that you may have forgotten.
At the heart of the smoke,
You see the most authentic parts of yourself,
The true nature of your spirit that is ready to be embraced,
You invite the smoke to flow towards you,
Inviting what you want to embrace to integrate within you.
The smoke swirls around you,
Settling on your skin and surrounding your energy field like a cloak of protection,
Like robes of sacred smoke,
Wearing the strengths of your spirit that are now ready to step forward,
Embracing the full strength of your spirit within,
Ready to be nurtured and grow into its full potential,
Placing your hands on your heart,
Allow yourself to feel everything integrate,
Breathing in the change you feel as it settles within you,
You thank the wise and powerful shaman for their guidance as they smile back at you with warmth and pride before fading into the shadows and returning to the realm of spirit.
Fire fades down to embers and slowly goes out,
Feeling ready to complete this moment,
On the next inhale,
Take a full deep breath,
Feeling your stomach and ribcage expanding all the way and when you're ready,
Exhale with a sigh,
Fully letting go,
As your breath returns to its regular flow,
You are aware of how you now feel more anchored and present within your body,
Feeling the changes that have taken place,
Feeling them integrate within you,
Feeling renewed,
Taking the time now to return to your surroundings,
Feeling the points of contact between you and the surface on which you are resting,
Slowly bringing your awareness back to your surroundings,
Feeling the air on your skin,
Gently moving your body,
Taking your time and when you feel ready to come back,
Gently open your eyes,
Aware of the world around you,
Remembering you can come back and experience this practice as often as you like,
