Welcome to this guided meditation.
Please find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed,
Turning off or silence any distractions and find a comfortable seated position and softly close down your eyes if that's comfortable.
We will begin by taking three deep cleansing relaxing breaths.
So on your next inhale take a long slow deep inhale and a full exhale completely empty the air out of your lungs.
Taking another deep inhale notice how your stomach expands,
Your chest and shoulders rise and a complete full exhale allowing your mind and body to relax.
Taking one more deep inhale feeling your body expand and a complete exhale releasing any remaining stress and tension that you are holding and return your breath back to its natural rhythm,
Breathing naturally in and out of your nose.
Taking your attention to the top of your head now as you relax the top of your head,
Continuing that relaxation down into your forehead allowing your forehead and your eyebrows to become heavy,
Relaxing the muscles around your eyes and deep into your eye sockets,
Softening your face,
Your cheeks your nose,
Your mouth,
Allowing your tongue to rest,
Continuing that relaxation down into your throat and your neck,
Allowing your shoulders to rest away from your ears,
Continuing that relaxation down from your upper arms all the way down to your lower arms,
Your hands and your fingers,
Softening into your chest and your back,
Allowing your stomach to become heavy and just rest naturally,
Continuing that relaxation down into your upper legs,
Your lower legs,
All the way down to your feet and your toes as your body is completely relaxed now.
You can return your attention back to your breath as you breathe naturally in and out of your nose,
Just become aware of whatever sensations you notice.
It could be the cooler air around your nose on the inhale and the warmer air as you exhale.
If at any point during this meditation your attention drifts off into thought or to any external sounds,
That is okay,
Just be kind to yourself and become aware that your attention has drifted and return your attention back to the meditation and you are welcome to move at any time during this meditation to find a more comfortable seated posture,
Just be sure to move mindfully.
There are seven chakras,
Seven energy centers in your body.
Chakra translates as wheel,
A turning spinning wheel of energy and each chakra has a particular location in the body and governs aspects of who we are and how we relate to ourselves and the world around us.
Through our life experiences,
Through our pain and trauma,
Our chakras can get blocked,
They can get taken out of alignment and become unbalanced in our body,
Restricting the free-flowing energy and this can manifest into psychological,
Physical or emotional problems.
The solar plexus chakra,
Manipura chakra,
Is located just below your sternum at the top of your abdomen and the color of this chakra is yellow.
You can imagine,
Feel or visualize this spinning ball of vibrant yellow energy,
Rotating and swirling around just below your sternum.
The solar plexus chakra relates to your personal power,
Your vitality,
Energy,
Authority and courage.
When this chakra is out of balance,
It can lead to poor self-esteem,
A lack of confidence,
Low willpower and low vitality.
It can lead to feelings of being not worthy.
Essentially,
We lose our power of who we are or we can even become too aggressive,
Too controlling and dominating and we can become very scattered in life.
You can imagine,
Feel or visualize your solar plexus chakra spinning and swirling around at your navel and it beginning to slowly open up.
As it is opening up,
It is beginning to heal,
Coming back into balance and harmony.
As it opens up,
You are allowing it to heal.
You can repeat silently or out loud after me.
My solar plexus chakra is healing.
My solar plexus chakra is healing.
My solar plexus chakra is healing.
When your solar plexus chakra is in balance,
You will have a strength of willpower and courage.
You will have a sense of purpose and meaning,
A strong self-esteem,
Increased vitality and with this inner strength and power.
The mantra for the solar plexus chakra is RAM.
This mantra vibrates and resonates at the solar plexus chakra,
Activating the chakra and helping it to heal.
You are welcome to repeat silently or out loud after me.
RAM.
RAM.
RAM.
You can imagine,
Feel or visualize a bright white light entering your body at the crown of your head,
At the top of your head.
This light moves all the way down to just below your sternum,
To your solar plexus chakra,
The spinning rotating ball of yellow energy.
This healing white light is entering your solar plexus chakra as it moves back into alignment,
Balancing and harmonizing in your body Your solar plexus chakra is healing.
Your solar plexus chakra begins to slowly close up as it is now back in alignment,
Balanced and harmonized in your body.
You can take your attention off your chakra now and bring your attention back to your breath as you breathe naturally in and out of your body.
You can take your attention off your breath now and just sit in the stillness around you,
Allowing your body,
Your chakra to absorb the healing energy you have just created.
You can begin to listen to the sounds that are around you and start to get a sense of your surroundings.
You can begin to move your fingers and your toes,
Your hands and your feet and stretch out into the space around you,
Slowly waking your body,
Taking your time here.
You can begin to open your eyes,
Taking your time coming back around.
Thank you for meditating with me.
