Hola,
My friends.
Welcome into a moment with compassion,
Recovering self-trust and self-love.
My name is Jordan,
And I'm so happy to be sharing this space with you today.
You're here.
You made it.
You showed up for yourself.
Notice that.
What does it feel like to be here right now?
Let yourself simply be present exactly as you are.
We often learn to have an impulse to fix versus process through our own presence.
There is nothing here that needs fixing.
There is only this moment and you in it.
What do you notice in your body right now?
Where is your breath?
Is it in your throat,
Your chest?
Belly.
Whatever is present for you is okay.
What do you feel in your heart space?
Whatever is present is welcome.
And whatever is present is allowed to be here.
These parts of you are messengers,
Emerging as information,
Letting you know what gets to be tended to,
Lovingly,
And these are your allies.
Being present and surrendering to what is,
Alone,
Is an act of self-love towards yourself.
Take a moment to reflect on these words.
There is a part of you that learned.
Through conditioning quite some time ago,
That if you are perfect,
It is a way to receive love.
To be perfect means I will receive love.
That core belief that developed was not conscious.
This is the subconscious internalizing the need in the moment in order to adapt.
In order to please.
In order to survive.
Those parts of you are still revealing themselves from within.
It's still operating,
Working,
Still trying to be seen,
Trying to be heard.
Give yourself permission to go inward toward that part.
That previous version of you in this moment and offer it something it has been waiting to hear.
Place your hand on your heart,
Or place your hands on your shoulders,
Giving yourself a gentle hug.
Whatever feels good in your body.
If there are thoughts,
Opposing thoughts,
A harsh narrative present,
Simply notice and remember you are the agent of your life.
You are in charge of your mind.
Your intuition is speaking to you through your heart.
Listen to that narrative.
And if you feel that you struggle to hear that narrative,
You can simply reframe it and quietly say to yourself,
I am open to listening.
To the narrative from my intuition and my heart.
And then say to yourself quietly It's okay.
I'm here.
You are okay.
And then in your own voice for yourself.
I am okay.
You can be the one who tells you that it's okay.
You can give yourself the love you may have been searching for outside of yourself.
You can choose yourself here in this moment.
This is what self-nurturing is.
Your innate ability to self-soothe.
You are your own steady,
Loving presence you have always needed.
This is the practice of self-compassion.
What would it feel like to trust your own feelings?
To validate yourself here,
On your own,
In this moment?
To hold space for your own emotions the way you would hold a child's,
A friend's.
Your pet.
With patience,
With care,
With the simple words,
I see you.
I'm listening.
You are okay.
You already have everything you need.
It lives within you.
You are embodying this truth,
Your truth,
Right now.
Take these words with you into the rest of your day.
I am okay.
I am here.
I am allowed to be exactly as I am right now.
When the inner critic gets loud,
Come back to these words.
When the feeling of not enough arrives,
Come back to these words.
When you forget who you are,
Come back to these words.
You are practicing compassion and love for the essence of who you naturally are and the ingredients that make you special,
Unique.
Loved,
And received.
I am sending you oceans of love.
Thank you for showing up for yourself today.
Again,
My name is Jordan and feel free to follow me here on Insight Timer so you can be notified when I release new offerings.
I look forward to connecting with you soon.
Have a beautiful rest of your day.
