We'll explore a quick body scan,
Emotional and energetic check-in throughout this time together.
So let's find a comfortable position.
You can allow your eyes to gently close if that feels safe,
Or a soft gaze.
And then please start by taking a slow breath in,
And a long,
Easy breath out.
Again,
Inhale,
And exhale.
For the next few moments,
Let your breath settle into its natural,
Organic rhythm.
Allow yourself to simply notice the natural rhythm of the breath inside your body.
And then gently ask yourself,
What emotions are present right now?
You don't need to fix or analyze them.
Just name them quietly if you can.
Perhaps you notice sadness,
Calm,
Irritation,
Uncertainty.
Whatever is here is allowed.
Whatever emotional part of you is showing up here is allowed.
Notice this emotional part without trying to change or fix it.
Simply allow it to be there.
Now,
Notice your overall energy,
Perhaps tiredness,
Alert,
Steady,
Restless.
Take a few moments to observe the overall tone of your system.
Again,
No need to change the energy you notice.
Simply notice it.
Now,
Bring awareness to your body as a whole.
Notice any areas that call your attention.
Perhaps parts of your body feel open and at ease.
Perhaps there's other physical sensations of tightness,
Withdrawn,
Pressure,
Comfort.
You don't need to scan every inch.
Just let your awareness gently sweep from head to toe.
And if you find an area of tightness,
See if you can naturally soften around it,
Even by 5%.
If nothing stands out,
Simply notice the feeling of being supported exactly where you are.
Take one slow breath into the body and release.
Now,
Hold your emotions,
Your energy,
And your physical sensations together in awareness.
This is your experience right now.
Breathing in,
Breathing out.
Begin to deepen your breath.
Invite your toes and your fingers to wiggle.
Perhaps you even gently move your head side to side,
Stretching one ear towards one shoulder,
And then the other ear towards your other shoulder.
And if you haven't done so already,
When you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Take in the surroundings,
And then take this awareness with you for the remainder of your day.
