Begin by following your breath into your physical body.
Feel your breath as it fills and as it releases.
That's it.
Just following your breath.
Let every breath take you deeper and deeper into this being that is you.
Let each breath be an honoring of yourself and an honoring of that which you are bringing into this lifetime.
Breath in,

As you drop into deeper contact with this unique human being that is you,
Simply open your awareness.
Open to the possibility of connection with your soul's longing,
Your soul's purpose.
What is it that has called you into this life?
How does the essence of longing move through your body,
Your blood,
Your bones,
Your breath,
Your spirit?
You may not know what this longing is.
You might only know this feeling,
A feeling of hunger,
Desire.
Can you let yourself drop fully into that feeling?
Drop into the center of that hunger,
The center of that longing.
Notice,
What does longing feel like,
Look like,
Sound like as it resonates through your body?
Your longing is the best guidance that you can have toward what your life's purpose is.
So just for a moment,
Let the energy of longing move through you like a bubbling brook,
Shimmering lights.
What does it feel like in your body,
This essence of longing?
Let the energy of longing move through you,
Following your breath,
Following your longing.
Connect to the way your longing lives in you.
And as you feel how longing lives in you,
I invite you to put your hands on what is called the high heart,
The soul seat,
On the sternum just above your physical heart.
It's the seat of your soul's longing.
It is the portal and the doorway in to deeper contact with that which wants to come through you.
Breathing into this soul seat,
Allowing the light of the soul seat to arise beneath your hands.
This portal of the soul seat takes you to a deep well of longing and possibility.
Simply watch,
Observe,
Notice as longing rises and longing recedes like a wave.
Simply notice and notice when something arises that ignites a light in you,
Ignites your soul's longing,
Resonates with this purpose that lies within you.
You will recognize it.
It will feel so familiar,
Like a friend that you have known your entire life.
Because the truth is,
You have.
You are inviting your soul's longing and purpose to reveal itself to you.
Simply allow.
Suspend doubt.
Suspend judgment.
What is the light and the essence that you are bringing into this world?
The light and the essence that no other human being can or will ever be able to bring into this world.
This is your gift.
This is your gift.
So continue to allow these gifts that are the essence and light of you to reveal themselves,
Washing up on the shore.
Trust them.
Trust them however they show up.
Invite them in.
Welcome them in.
And you don't even need to know what to do with them.
You only need to welcome them in.
Make a place for them at your table.
Ask them how they want to express through you.
How do these gifts want to shine in the world?
Listen as they answer.
How do they want to shine in this world?
And so take another few moments.
Listening.
And letting this integrate.
Making friends with your gifts,
Your essence,
Your longing.
