Today you have decided to find your inner confidence.

In order to do this you are going to start relaxing.

Just resting so comfortably now.

You feel safe,

Calm and at ease.

I want you to give yourself permission to take this time just for you.

I want you to relax and just for a little while at least I want you to let go.

Let go of all the thoughts of responsibility that would normally be in your mind.

Rest totally assured that if anything were to require attention you would instantly be capable of attending to it.

But for now there is nothing of importance,

Nothing at all to stop you from taking this time to just relax and enjoy the feeling of returning to your natural state of simply just being.

So allow your eyes to softly close now.

Be aware of the position of your body resting.

Notice the feel of any clothing or anything else touching your body.

Be aware of the time of the day.

Morning,

Afternoon,

Evening or night time.

The time of the year,

The temperature of the air on the skin of your hands and any other uncovered areas of your body.

Be aware of the surface beneath you and just let yourself think how your awareness doesn't end there but goes all the way down deep down into the very center of the earth and just relax.

Trust in the sound of my voice.

Allow my voice to enter your mind and take you deeper and deeper down down into a wonderful place deep within you.

A very special place where those important changes to your life are getting ready now to take place.

Now in a moment I want you to count slowly backwards in your mind.

What I'd like for you to do is count backwards from a hundred and after each number think in your mind the words deep deep deep relaxation and as you think those words in your mind you'll find that you will become deeply deeply relaxed.

So count backwards now in your mind and anytime you lose count or track just start again at 100 and allow my voice to enter that deep part of your mind that wonderful place where those important life changes are already starting to make changes especially when it comes to your self-confidence.

I want you to take your awareness once more down to your feet and imagine if you will a sensation of warmth and heaviness flowing throughout your toes into the feet.

Let that feeling spread over the heels into the ankles then all the way up into the lower legs over the knees into the upper legs and let that relaxing feeling flow up now into the hips the thighs the pelvic area just relax the pelvis and all pelvic muscles.

Now feel the relaxation feeling going down to your stomach relaxing the tummy and all the muscles there.

Relax the chest and shoulders especially the shoulders just let them feel limp loose and comfortable.

Now take that relaxing feeling over the shoulders into the back and relax the two big muscles there then move that relaxation back to the shoulders let it flow all the way down the arms wrists the hands the fingers and the thumbs.

Notice the warmth there in the palm of the hands there may be a small tingling sensation in the palm of the hands.

Let that relaxation spread up into your face let all the muscles on your face relax the muscles around your mouth eyes and nose and even your jaw relax your mouth also.

You may occasionally hear something I say and then drift off again and that's okay because you don't have to listen to me the benefit from this experience will happen in your relaxed mind it will do all the listening and hear every word that I say.

And now you can begin to notice during this deep and very relaxing state you can now begin to notice how you're beginning to feel much physically stronger and fitter more motivated in each and every way you feel much more alert your mind is much more clearer and you feel receptive and more wide awake more alert more energetic and you feel better about yourself your mind will be much clearer and more ordered from now on you will become much less easily tired much less easily fatigued much less easily discouraged every day you'll become so deeply interested in whatever you are doing in whatever is going on around you that your mind will become completely distracted away from yourself you will no longer think nearly so much about yourself you will no longer dwell so much upon yourself and any perceived troubles or difficulties and you become much less preoccupied with yourself every day your nerves will become calmer stronger and much steadier your mind will quickly become calmer and clearer more self-composed more tranquil and you will feel much much better about yourself you become much less easily worried much less easily agitated much less easily fearful and apprehensive you'll be able to think more clearly you will be able to concentrate more easily you'll be able to give your complete and total undivided attention to whatever you are doing and consequently your memory will rapidly improve you'll be able to see things easily in their true perspective without allowing things in your mind to get out of proportion you'll become much emotionally calmer much less easily disturbed you'll become and remain more and more confident in your own abilities and you'll relax mentally and physically be less tense and less bothered each day and as you become more relaxed and less tense each day you will develop much more self-confidence in yourself much more self-worth much more self-confidence in yourself more self-confidence in your ability to do not only what you have to do each day but also more confidence in your ability to do whatever you ought to be able to do without any fear or failure without feelings of low self-worth without easiness so because of this every day you'll feel more and more independent more and more in complete self-control more able to stand confidently on your own two feet no matter how difficult or trying some things may appear every day you'll feel a greater feeling of personal well-being a greater feeling of self-control and security than what you've felt for a really long time and because these things will begin to happen exactly as I say you become more rapidly powerfully and completely confident much happier more content more optimistic in every way you'll feel much less lead to have to rely upon other people you'll have a strong sensible knowing of your own self-worth self-confidence and self-love you will do things easily because you know that you can starting right now you can and indeed start a new confident life with a new and better much better attitude about yourself about your life that your family friends and your own talents and special abilities and because you're going to live your life in this newer more confident way you begin to enjoy every aspect of everything around you and you'll become very aware of all the goodness that is around you you become so aware of all the confidence in your life that you'll feel it inside as a very very pleasant feeling of well-being of knowing that you are the confident person the most confident you've ever been you just flow with a rhythm of life you're able to think and to feel good and to love and experience your life in your fullest expression of confidence to be fully alive every day more calm more relaxed more confident and more at peace starting from now you'll simply be able to flow with everything just flowing experiencing not bothered confident happy relaxed you solve all life's challenges with calm and confidence every time you listen to this recording these suggestions become a part of your actions your behavior and your personality they become a part of who you are you're powerful you're strong you are confident being confident comes easily for you and it's a great feeling congratulations trust that everything in your life is coming together as you get ready to face your day and when you're ready take one long slow deep breath and become aware of the sounds around you become aware of the feeling of the clothes on your body and gently open your eyes and come back to where you are
