This is an abbreviated version of my full Mindful Feeling exercise. This practice can help those who tend to feel the need to avoid feeling painful emotions and/or resting with painful or disturbing thoughts. The classic sentiment is true: what we resist, persists. Sometimes we need to FEEL first - and then do the analyzing, figuring out, or problem solving. Practice this mindfulness exercise to help *feeling* start to feel like a safe thing you are able to do. Full-length practice recommended prior to this abbreviated version.
