Welcome,

My name is Mark and thank you so much for joining me tonight.

This meditation is a gentle invitation to let go,

To float in rest and to sleep deeply and peacefully beneath the stars.

All you need to do is lie back,

Close your eyes and allow my voice to guide you for a little while.

Let us begin.

We're going on a journey,

Not across land or sea,

But far beyond,

Into the still,

Expansive cosmos.

Begin by bringing awareness to your body.

Feel the weight of your body resting against the mattress,

Held,

Supported,

Safe.

Breathe in slowly through your nose and out through your mouth,

Letting go.

On the next inhale,

Feel your body gently fill with breath-like moonlight.

And on the exhale,

Let go of all your tension.

Scan through your body now,

Relax your forehead,

Unclench the jaw,

Soften your neck and your shoulders,

Let the arms be heavy now,

The hands soft,

The belly loose.

Feel the breath,

Low and slow,

Let your legs sink,

Your feet fully relax,

You are safe now,

You are still,

You are ready to float now.

Imagine a soft shimmer of light above you,

A gentle orb of starlight,

Warm,

Silent,

Inviting.

This light begins to lower slowly,

Surrounding your whole body,

You can begin to feel yourself becoming lighter,

As if gravity is gently loosening its grip on you.

With your next breath now,

You begin to lift,

Gently rising,

Drifting above the bed,

The room,

Now above the house,

There is no fear,

Only calm and freedom,

You are being carried upwards,

Softly like a feather on a quiet breeze,

Higher and higher now,

Past the clouds,

Past the edge of the sky,

Through the atmosphere and into the vast stillness of infinite space.

You now see that you are surrounded by stars,

Each one glowing,

Pulsing with a beautiful,

Quiet light,

The vast blackness of space is not empty,

You can feel its alive presence,

Like a cosmic womb,

Infinite,

Nurturing,

Loving and still.

You float here,

No thoughts,

No weight,

Only peacefulness,

Now you drift past constellations,

The lion,

The swan,

The water bearer,

Ancient friends,

Watching over you,

Keeping you safe,

You feel cradled by the universe itself,

Time slows now,

Your breath slows,

Feel how quiet it is out here,

No pressure,

No stories you're telling yourself,

Just your being and the gentle,

Comforting hum of space.

Ahead,

You can see a resting place,

A soft cushion of light,

Nestled within a nebula,

You drift gently toward it and rest comfortably there.

This is your sanctuary,

A place of renewal,

Beyond all thought,

Beyond all form.

Here,

Your nervous system can completely let go now,

Your mind has the space to unwind,

Feel every cell in your body surrendering to stillness,

The stars hold you,

The cosmos sings a gentle lullaby only your soul can hear,

Nothing matters right now,

Only this sacred,

Beautiful rest.

Now the stars begin to gently dim,

The light becomes softer,

Like embers in the night,

Your thoughts are barely whispers now,

Like mist fading,

You are drifting further and further into sleep,

Your body is asleep,

The breath is slow and steady,

You find that your awareness is dissolving into the universe,

You are now entering the place beyond words,

The space where dreams are born and manifested.

Let completely go now,

Go to the dreams,

You may already be far far away now,

But if a part of you is still listening,

Know that you are held,

You are deeply,

Deeply loved and the stars will keep watch over you tonight,

All through the night,

Sleep well my friend,

Dream happy.

I am so 😴 sleepy and very relaxed...thank you Mark...your voice is so loving masculine and so peaceful...I drifted off a couple of times...I would love to talk to you on a personal level... I will listen to this sleep meditation several more times....love you...big hugs 🫂
