During this breath meditation,
I'll be encouraging you to feel the power of inclusion and equality for all,
Remembering that every story,
Every experience,
And every soul is valued.
Find a comfortable place to sit or lie down and gently soften or close your eyes.
Allow your hands to come to rest in your lap or by your side and begin to notice your breath,
Allowing it to flow in and out.
Take a deep breath in and releasing out.
As you breathe in,
Feel the air nourish around your heart.
And as you breathe out,
Relax any tension,
Any barriers,
Any division in the mind.
Inhale as you welcome unity into your heart and release any thoughts of separation.
As you follow the flow of your breath,
Reflect on a time when you truly felt a sense of belonging,
Taking note of what made you feel included and how you can create that same sense of belonging for others.
Inhaling in,
Honoring every voice,
And exhale out,
Creating space for all.
Feeling the rhythm of your breath,
Steady and strong,
Just like the resilience of those who came before us,
Paving the way for justice,
For equality,
For inclusion.
And with each inhale,
Breathe in their courage.
And with each exhale,
Send out love and respect to all.
Inhale,
Recognizing our shared humanity.
And exhale out the celebration of our differences.
Continuing to draw in unity and love and respect with every inhale.
And releasing any thoughts of division,
Fear,
And judgment with every exhale.
Imagine your breath as a bridge connecting you to all others.
What you breathe out,
Others breathe in,
In a beginningless cycle connecting us all.
It is something that we share.
It's a symbol of our unity and our equality.
Take a couple more deep breaths into your heart here,
Keeping that emotional center of your life open and receptive and leading from a place of love,
Of compassion,
Of understanding.
Nice big,
Deep inhale.
And exhale it out.
When you're ready,
You can blink open your eyes and carry this awareness with you throughout your day.
