Welcome to Shunnedra.
Shunya's signature non-sleep,
Deep rest practice.
These guided sessions are designed to support deep rest,
Nervous system regulation.
And mental clarity.
You may practice lying down or seated comfortably.
Allow the body to relax.
Follow the guidance gently.
And give yourself permission to rest.
This session is designed to help release accumulated stress.
And guide the nervous system back into balance.
Find a comfortable position.
Allow the body to settle.
Supported and at ease.
Gently close the eyes.
There is nowhere to go.
Nothing to sew.
Nothing to hold.
Bring awareness to the breath.
Without changing it.
Simply noticing.
Feel the weight of your body.
Points of contact.
Where your body meets the surface beneath you.
Back of the head.
Shoulders.
Arms,
Hips,
Legs.
With every exhale.
Allow the body to drop a little deeper.
Releasing effort.
Releasing,
Holding.
Bring awareness to the right hand thumb.
Second finger,
Third finger.
4th finger.
Little finger.
Palm of the hand.
Back of the hand.
Wrist,
Forum.
Elbow.
Upper arm.
Shoulder.
Armpit.
Right waist.
Right hip.
Right thigh.
Knee.
Lower leg.
Ankle.
Heal.
Sole of the foot.
Top of the foot,
Big toe,
Second toe,
Third toe,
Fourth toe,

Now move awareness to the left side.
Left hand thumb,
Second finger,

Back of the hand Wrist forearm.

Bring awareness to the back of the body.
Back of the head,
Shoulder blades,
Middle back.
Lower back.
Back of the pelvis.
Back of the ties Calves healed.
Now for the front of the body Top of the head Forehead eyebrows,

Whole right leg.
Whole left leg.
Both legs together.
Both arms together.
Whole torso,
Whole body.
As awareness moves.
Tension begins to dissolve without effect.
Now bring attention to the breath.
Take a slow inhale through the nose.
And a longer,
Unhurried exhale.
Inhale,
One.
Two,
Three,
Four.
Exhale,

Longer exhales signal safety to the nervous system.
The body begins to shift from effort into ease.
Bring awareness now to areas where the body may still be holding tension.
The jaw,
The shoulders,
The chest.
The belly With each exhale,
Allow these areas to soften.
No forcing,
Just allowing.
Imagine stress leaving the body with each breath.
Like warmth dissolving into space.
Imagine now a slow,
Steady river.
The water moving effortlessly.
Carrying everything with it.
No resistance.
No holding.
Place any lingering tension.
Into this flow.
Let it be carried away.
The body becoming lighter.
The mind quieter.
You're not holding anything now.
The system resets naturally.
Bring awareness back to the breath.
Natural,
Effortless.
Feel the body again.
Rested.
Supported.
Regulated.
Begin small movements,
Fingers,
Toes.
And when ready,
Gently open the eyes.
Carry this state in us with you.
Take a moment before returning to your day.
Or drifting into sleep.
The body remembers the state of rest.
And with practice.
It becomes easier to return to.
