Transcript

The first thing you will want to do is find a comfortable position with a straight spine,

Perhaps lying down or sitting with your legs crossed.

Either way we will begin by gently closing down the eyes.

Roll back and release your shoulders.

Once you have created this space for yourself,

Take a deep breath in and release with a sigh.

Feel the heaviness in your body and sink further into the surface beneath you.

Feel it's comfort and security.

And now taking a mental scan of the body,

Notice where you feel any tension and focus your mind on these areas and ask to let go of any stress it has been holding onto.

It might be the space in between your eyebrows,

Maybe your jaw.

Listen to your body and it will speak to you with the feelings of sensations that arise.

Now you have arrived in a peaceful state,

In your minds eye visualize or speak out loud one thing that you are ready to release and cut the cord to.

It could be a person,

A place,

A situation or a feeling.

See it in front of you now as you get a clear picture in your mind of who or what it may be.

Now notice where you can see or feel these energetic threads or cords leading from your body outwards into this external source.

There is no right or wrong way,

Just simply observe.

Does it have a colour or maybe a certain thickness?

Observe the feelings that arise from this connection.

Take a moment to reflect on why you are now ready to release this connection.

Now call in a tool which will help you to cut this cord,

It might be a pair of scissors,

A sword,

A knife,

Trust whatever arrives.

Repeat after me,

I am willing to release all fear and unforgiveness so that I may experience peace instead of pain.

Take a deep breath in and out,

Then when you feel ready go ahead and use your chosen tool to cut this cord.

Feel its instant detachment,

No longer connected to you,

It's time to cool back your energy.

Watch as the cord dissolves and disintegrates,

And as you disconnect say out loud,

I reclaim my power with ease and grace,

I am free and return to wholeness.

As the cord disappears notice how your body feels,

Perhaps lighter,

Clearer,

Freer.

If emotions arise simply allow them to move through you,

You're safe,

You're held.

Rest here for a few more breaths allowing the shift to fully integrate.

Ask to bring forth Archangel Michael,

His role is to clear any dark energies.

And as you feel his presence as he stands by your side,

Ask him to cut any other cords where you may have been outsourcing your energy.

Once he has done this you will notice an immediate increase of energy and peacefulness around you.

Thank Archangel Michael as he now seals your energetic boundaries for protection,

Strength and truth.

Place your hands over your heart and repeat silently or aloud three times,

Thank you for the lessons I release with love.

Take three slow grounding breaths,

Inhaling calm,

Exhaling release.

Begin to bring gentle movement back to your fingers and toes,

Perhaps gently rotating your head from side to side,

And when you are ready open your eyes,

Carrying a sense of clarity and lightness into the rest of your day or evening.
