Just be here now,
Openly knowing,
Pure being.
No name or form,
No future,
No past.
No story of me,
No self.
Just here,
Pure being.
The silence I'm pointing to has nothing to do with sound,
Or the absence of sound,
Or any of the other movements.
The silence pervades form.
It's almost palpable.
Let's just enjoy that for a moment.
Why not?
Very pleasant.
There's no rush,
No hurry to do anything.
For now,
Just for now,
For a moment.
It's undisturbed by sound,
It's undisturbed by any movements of the body,
Undisturbed by the words coming out of this mouth,
Undisturbed by the hearing on your end of these words.
Behind it all,
Or beneath it all,
This silence,
Palpable silence,
Pervades.
Noticing this throughout the day is always nice also,
It's good.
It slows down the body and the mind and the pressure of doing,
And just brings you to rest for a moment.
Why not?
Silence is almost like a hum,
A hum pervading everything.
Yeah,
Find this silence occasionally.
Just sit for a moment,
Eyes open or closed is okay,
Doesn't matter.
But open is fine.
Movements of the body are fine.
You know,
Just stop the incessant activity of reaching out to thoughts and other movements of form,
All of which are perfectly fine,
But for a moment,
Instead of reaching in the direction of that,
Settle into knowing yourself as pure being,
With no movement of time,
No movement of self,
No movement in any direction.
Just be that,
And let this silence pervade your being.
Enjoy.
