Take a deep breath in and let's begin.
Find a comfortable position,
Either sitting or lying down.
Gently close your eyes and take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
With each inhale,
Feel yourself drying in peace and with each exhale,
Release any tension or worries.
Allow your body to soften,
Your mind to quiet and your heart to open.
Take a deep breath in through your nose,
Filling your whole body with oxygen and light,
Pausing slightly at the top and a long exhale out of your mouth,
With a slight pause at the bottom.
Do this a couple more times at your own pace.
Deep inhale,
Slight pause,
Long exhale,
Pausing at the bottom.
Allow your breathing to return to its natural rhythm.
Begin to relax every muscle,
Starting at your head.
Relax your eyes,
Your mouth and jaw.
Relax your neck and shoulders.
Send this relaxation down your arms and out your fingertips.
Relax your chest,
Abdomen and hips.
Imagine this relaxation rolling down your legs as your thighs,
Calves,
Ankles and feet release any tension or tightness.
Feel your body melting into the surface below you.
You are completely relaxed,
Safe and at peace.
Now imagine yourself standing at the entrance of a beautiful garden.
This is the sacred garden of your heart.
As you step inside,
Take in the beauty surrounding you.
Notice the vibrant colors,
The scent of fresh flowers,
The warmth of the sunlight on your skin.
This garden represents your heart's energy.
How does it look?
Are there areas that need attention,
Perhaps overgrown with weeds or lacking light?
Gently walk towards the center of the garden,
Where a radiant rose awaits.
This flower symbolizes your heart's true essence,
Pure,
Open and full of love.
With each breath,
Imagine this flower blossoming fully,
Its petals opening effortlessly,
Revealing a brilliant light at its core.
This light represents love,
Healing and forgiveness.
As you stand in this sacred space,
Gently place your hands over your heart.
Think of any pain,
Fear or sadness that you've been carrying.
Visualize these emotions as dark clouds hovering near your heart.
As you inhale,
See your glowing heart light growing stronger.
And as you exhale,
Watch those dark clouds begin to dissolve,
Lifted away by a gentle breeze.
If there is someone you need to forgive,
Including yourself,
Imagine their presence in this garden.
See them bathed in soft golden light.
Whisper the words,
I release you,
I set myself free.
Watch as their image dissolves into the light,
Leaving behind only peace.
Now imagine a warm,
Golden pink light descending from above,
Like a gentle shower of love from the universe.
This light flows into your heart,
Filling every corner of your being with unconditional love,
Self-acceptance and peace.
Fill your heart expanding,
Radiating warmth and compassion outward,
First to yourself,
Then to your loved ones,
And finally to the entire world.
Take a moment to express gratitude to your heart for all the love it gives and receives.
