Hello and welcome,
My name is Satine Starr and today we're going to walk through an ocean meditation that's a metaphor for riding the waves of life.
Today we're learning to ride the waves instead of fighting them because,
Let's face it,
Life has waves,
Ups and downs,
Calms and chaos.
So when you're ready,
I'd like you to get comfortable,
Close your eyes and imagine you're standing at the edge of the water and your feet are planted in the sand.
The waves are lapping at your feet and this ocean is massive,
Powerful but you're not afraid because you trust this ocean.
I want you to imagine how beautiful the water is The temperature is just right As the water touches your toes,
It's inviting you to come in Now you're walking a little deeper into the water It's cool against your skin,
It's refreshing,
It's rejuvenating And as you get deeper,
A wave starts to come Instead of resisting it,
You decide to dive under it And as you dive under this wave,
You let it pass over you,
Unharmed and unbothered And then another wave comes and you decide once again you're going to dive You come up on the other side of this wave And you are unbothered,
Relaxed and enjoying your time This wave represents life And waves continue to come in our life But you know how to navigate with each and every wave You're not fighting them,
You're flowing with them They don't bother you,
You're not afraid and you're in control I want you to imagine you're floating on your back The water holds you You're weightless And the sun is kissing your skin You feel completely safe And with each wave that comes your way,
You feel your body rise and fall with them You're not drowning,
You're not struggling You're being carried and held by this body of water Trust the water,
Trust the waves and trust that you will not go under Your face stays pointed to the sun And your body continues to be carried by the waves You are not separate from the ocean You are the ocean Each and every wave is a part of you The calm is a part of you All of it is you And I want you to sit in this place and become aware of your breath Not trying to control it or change it,
Just aware of it And as your chest rises,
So don't you with the waves And you know that you can ride every wave that comes your way just as life is You know that you can ride whatever comes your way Because just as your breath takes you The waves and life is taking you too And you are in full control Of the waves and your decisions and your breath I hope that you enjoyed this ocean meditation And it helped you see that life is just waves and one big ocean that you are part of And I hope that this calm brings peace to you And you are able to face every wave of your life with that peace and calm that we've cultivated here today And at any time,
