Relax your eyebrows,
Your eyelids.
Let your inner gaze become soft and benevolent.
Release all the tension in your cheeks.
Loosen your jaw and allow your tongue to rest gently in your mouth.
Now,
Move down to your neck and imagine a soothing warmth spreading slowly,
Releasing every taut fiber.
Slide your attention to your shoulders.
Let them drop gently,
Releasing the burden they carry.
And feel this relaxation spread like a wave of comfort.
Let your biceps,
Your forearms,
All the way to your wrists,
Release all tension.
Send this relaxation along each finger and feel this release spread as slowly as possible.
Bring your attention to your chest.
With each breath,
Feel your chest rise and fall gently like the waves of a calm ocean and allow your back to sink into the support beneath you.
Relax each vertebra from the top of your spine all the way down.
Now,
Focus on your abdomen.
Let it relax completely.
Imagine all tension,
All stress dissolving,
Leaving you with a feeling of lightness and freedom.
Turn your attention to your hips and pelvis.
Feel them open and release.
Imagine all accumulated pressure evaporating,
Making room for an open,
Serene space.

Glide your awareness down along your legs.
Begin gently with your thighs.
Allow this wave of relaxation to spread to your knees.
Allow each muscle to loosen.
Move down to your calves and finally your feet.
