Welcome.
I'm so glad you're here.
Let's begin by arriving just as you are.
There's nothing to fix,
Nothing to push through.
This is a soft place to land.
Now take a moment to settle your body.
Gently close your eyes or soften your gaze and begin to notice the rhythm of your breath.
No need to change it,
Just witness it.
Your breath moving in and your breath moving out.
Let yourself just feel the quiet miracle of that.
You're already doing enough right now,
As you are.
Now bring your attention to the places your body is being held.
By the floor,
By the chair,
By the bed beneath you.
Feel the support beneath your back,
Your legs,
Your feet.
If it helps,
Whisper to yourself,
I am supported.
I am safe to exhale.
Let your shoulders soften maybe just 5% more.
Let your jaw unclench.
Let your belly rise and fall without effort.
You're allowed to be exactly as you are.
You're allowed to lay it all down right here.
Now imagine roots like gentle golden threads growing down from your body,
Moving through the floor,
Through the layers of earth beneath you.
These roots are welcomed into stability.
They're anchoring you into something ancient and wise.
As you breathe,
Imagine any stress or static dissolving down these roots,
Leaving your body flowing downward to be held and transformed by the earth with love.
Let's take a few slow breaths together.
Inhale through your nose.
Hold for a gentle pause and exhale slowly like a sigh of relief.
And again,
Inhale,
Fill up with calm,
Pause,
And exhale,
Release what you're carrying.
And one more time,
Inhale,
Peace,
Exhale,
Release.
Feel yourself softening now.
Feel the noise within you quieting,
Not disappearing,
But loosening its grip.
Your system is beginning to regulate as you find your way back to your center.
If your heart feels heavy today,
I want you to know you're not broken.
You're not too much.
You're a human being with a tender,
Beautiful heart.
Repeat these words either quietly or out loud and let them wash over you like warm light.
I am safe in this moment.
I am allowed to rest.
You're doing your best and right now,
That is enough.
As we begin to close,
Take one more breath into your body.
Feel how it's changed and softened even a little since you began.
Bring gentle movement to your fingers,
Your toes,
Maybe roll your shoulders or sway your head side to side and let your body know we're coming back.
And when you're ready,
Blink your eyes open or simply lift your gaze and take in your space with fresh eyes.
You've just given yourself a soft landing,
A return to center,
A little peace in the middle of it all.
Come back to this anytime your heart feels heavy.
I'll be right here.
