I'll send you hope.

I won't send you flowers when you find out she's not going to bounce back.

I'll send you fortitude.

I won't send you flowers on the day that she passes.

I'll send you moments to ease your grief.

I won't send you flowers on the day of her funeral.

I'll send you memories of love.

And then,

One day,

When the dust is somewhat settling and you wonder how you are even meant to manage life again,

Then,

Then I'll bring you flowers to remind you that joy can come at the most unexpected times in the most unexpected places.
