Begin this meditation and energy healing session by finding yourself in a comfortable position.
Allow yourself to sink into your chair or bed and allow your muscles to just become more and more relaxed with every exhale.
There's no need to change your breath for this meditation but allow your breath to be a point of guidance to move your awareness deeper and deeper into yourself.
With every exhale allow the muscles of your legs to relax.
Allow the muscles of your pelvis and lower abdomen to release.
Allow the tensions of your lower back,
Mid-back and the rest of your abdomen and chest to soften.
Allow these feelings of softness and lightness to travel upward into the shoulders,
Down into your arms and hands,
Back up into the back of your neck,
Your throat,
The front of your neck and up into your chin and jawline.
With each breath out allow your facial muscles to relax and release the emotions that have been held there throughout the day.
Give the little muscles around your eyes permission to soften.
And now allow your awareness to move inward into the brain and just gently guide your brain and your neurons into a quieter state where they no longer need to remain vigilant and aware.
Let your brain and your mind know that you are safe.
Gently move your awareness further down from your brain into your heart and as you continue to cultivate the sensation of feeling safe place this sensation into your heart.
And slowly allow that sensation to echo through every chamber of your heart and with each exhale allow the heart to move this safety energy into your entire body.
Experience the feeling of safety impacting your nervous system,
Your hormones,
Your brain and into all of the tissues of your system.
You create a new level of softness and ease when you teach your body that you are safe and you rewire circuits that are overactive.
You teach your nervous system to understand that you are not in a fight-or-flight mode.
There is no stressor happening right now.
And as you lightly rest your awareness on your entire nervous system tell it,
Nervous system,
We are safe.
And just allow yourself to experience the sensation of safety drifting into every area of your physical body,
Your mental body,
Your emotional body,
Your entire energy field.
And allow this sensation to echo out as far outward from your body as you can and also let it echo as deeply into your body as you can.
When you share one unifying message across all the layers of your existence you create deeper and deeper levels of transformation.
You sink deeper and deeper into the sensation of security and safety.
And now inform your body that it is safe for you to sleep.
It is safe for you to have a restful night in which you stay asleep all night.
The heaviness of muscle relaxation moves through your entire system as you generate the energy of soft dreaminess as you allow yourself to let go of everything.
Trust that your body knows how to rest.
And trust that with practice you can reprogram any pattern that has not been serving you.
And this can include having a restful night,
Sleeping soundly,
Feeling rested and rejuvenated each morning,
And knowing that a healing restful sleep can come easily to you.
So as you sink more and more into the softness of nothingness,
Of not needing to do anything,
Rest your eyes and return your mind into the folds of your heart and in this way you let the mind rest while the heart beats and shares again with your nervous system the knowledge that you are safe and that it is safe to sleep soundly for the whole night.
Soften further into nothingness as energy flows forward for you and into you for the next few minutes.
Gently allow yourself to continue to drift into sleep.
And return tomorrow night to continue to retrain your system to understand that good quality sleep is your birthright.
