Welcome.
I'd like to invite you to bring yourself to a relaxing place,
Whether sitting,
Laying down,
Taking a moment to make sure you're comfortable,
Uncrossing any legs,
Allowing yourself to feel heavy,
And taking a moment to start to bring your focus from everything going on outside of you,
To becoming gently aware of what's going on inside of you.
How are you physically feeling at this moment?
Are you holding tension anywhere specific?
What does it feel like to breathe into that area?
Are you holding on to mental stress?
Thoughts not serving your best purpose,
Your best ideas.
I invite you to release them.
I'd like you to bring your attention to your breath as a way to encourage you to go within,
Breathing in through the nose,
All the way into your lower belly,
And exhaling very slowly.
With a deep inhale and a slow exhale,
We speak to the body,
Telling it it's okay to relax.
Just being present each time a thought comes,
Releasing it,
Bringing awareness back to the breath as we inhale,
And taking our time with an exhale,
Giving permission for this pause in our day,
A needed break,
A rest,
A reset,
Reminding ourselves the breath is with us all day,
Giving ourselves a moment to breathe,
Through the nose all the way down to the belly,
Exhaling through the mouth,
Not only now in this moment,
But whenever our day seems fit for a deep breath.
Thank you for taking this brief time.
I wish you well.
I wish you peace and whatever the rest of your day brings.
Thank you.
