Hello beautiful soul and welcome to this meditation on joy.

I'm Brittany and I am so happy to have you here with me for this meditation.

Settle in,

Stay seated,

Lying down or feel free to stand with your feet grounded on the floor.

Let your heart be open,

Your mind open to whatever you need during this meditation.

Let's start by putting a smile on our face.

Let's take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

And again,

A deep breath in and a deep breath out.

Now being grounded here in this moment,

How do you feel?

Are you in joy or are you looking for joy?

What does joy feel like in your body?

What is your mind alike when you are in joy?

Is it freeing being in joy?

Is it beautiful,

Magical?

How do you show up when you're in joy?

Do you get silent and present?

Do you get more talkative?

Do you get excited?

Do you feel peace?

What does joy mean to you?

What is your heart feel when you're in joy?

Full,

Warm,

Beautiful?

Does it connect you deeper to yourself,

Deeper to others?

What does life feel like when you are in joy?

Does it feel easier and lighter to navigate?

Are possibilities endless?

Is it easier to love and be grateful?

When is the last time you felt joy,

Pure joy,

With no worry in the world in that moment?

What were you doing?

Who were you with?

Why were you so full of joy?

What was it about this moment?

Maybe it was the laugh of your child or an empty calendar,

A nice text,

Your pet wanting to be near you,

A great meal,

A clean shower,

That trip you booked,

That paycheck you worked so hard for.

So many things bring us joy every day.

Do you stop to look?

Do you stop to experience them?

Or do they catch you off guard and surprise you,

These joyful moments?

Can you plan them?

Or do they just happen?

Do you have a say to feel joy?

Or does it overtake you?

What's a moment or a memory that you can think of that has brought you the most joy?

One of your favorite moments in your whole life?

What is that?

Channel it,

Be with it,

Feel it.

That memory is yours.

It belongs to you.

It is part of this beautiful journey that you've walked throughout your life.

This moment is so sacred.

It's in your magic treasure chest of your soul.

It will never fade.

It will never go away.

Embrace this moment.

Relive the details.

Where were you?

Is this something you have experienced other times?

Or was this a once in a lifetime opportunity?

How full is this joy?

How big is this joy?

Think this memory that you will cherish forever and always hold it close.

Let's think of one of your first memories that you can think of that brought you the most joy,

As your child self.

What made this younger version of you so happy?

Where were you?

Were you with anyone?

What year were you in?

How old were you?

What did you look like?

And how did this feel?

Maybe it was playing with your favorite toy,

Playing with your childhood best friend,

Getting your first pet,

Going to your favorite place,

Eating your favorite food.

What was it?

Live in this moment,

This pure,

Authentic joy.

This is yours.

Think this memory and never let it go.

Let's think of a joy that you are going to feel in the future.

Maybe it's something you have planned around the corner.

Maybe it's your biggest,

Most wildest dream.

What is that?

What is this experience in the future that is going to fill you with so much joy,

So much happiness,

So much fulfillment?

Is it being experienced with somebody?

Is it at a certain place?

Is it accomplishing a certain goal?

How does this feel?

Let it into your heart,

Your soul,

Your body,

Your mind.

How does it feel in your hands,

In your legs,

In your heart?

All of this joy.

Look forward to this memory and this experience.

There is so much to live for.

There is so much to still see and do.

All of the versions of yourself that you still have to discover.

All of the memories you still have to create.

The best of your years are still coming and you deserve all of this joy.

Thank your past memories,

Your recent memories,

And your future memories.

Thank you for this moment.

Put your hand on your heart and take a deep breath and let it out with a big sigh.

Again,

Feel your hand on your chest rise.

Feel the fullness and hold at the top.

And then exhale it all out.

You are alive.

You are beautiful.

You are abundant.

You are joy.

Think of someone that you brought joy to recently.

Who did you make laugh or feel good?

Somebody that was so grateful for something you did.

Someone that loves to be around you.

Who have you impacted recently?

Think of that person.

Be with that person in that moment.

Feel their joy because of you.

Share it with them.

Imagine yourself reaching out and hugging them if you hadn't.

Let them know that they deserve this joy.

They deserve this gift.

And how much joy it brings you for being able to give that to them.

Let them know that they are worthy.

And give them a prayer or statement of something that you wish for them.

Take a moment to do that.

Send love their way.

Send them thanks.

Who do you know that needs joy with all this joy that you have to give?

Who could use it?

Think of a way you could gift them this joy.

Is there something you could do to help them feel a little better?

To get something done?

To make life a little easier for them?

What joyous thing can you do for someone?

Someone you are close to or someone you don't know at all?

How can you impact this world just a little better?

You have the power within you to help create good things and make this world that much better.

Let's take another deep inhale.

And exhale.

Inhale.

Exhale.

Inhale and feel your belly rise.

Exhale.

Inhale to the top.

Sigh it out.

Inhale.

Smile and exhale.

Smile and exhale.

You are alive.

This gift of life,

Being here with your breath and your lungs and your beating heart is everything.

Feel all of this joy and take it with you throughout the rest of your day.

You deserve good things.
