Begin this guided meditation by breathing very deeply in through your nose and exhale through your mouth.
Throughout this guided meditation,
I want you to continue to breathe deeply.
Your breath is your stronghold,
It is your life force.
Your breath is what connects you to all living creatures.
And now I want you to begin to imagine an amazing and beautiful place that you get to create and call your own.
This place might be somewhere that you've already been,
Like the ocean,
Or a lake,
Or the mountains,
Or perhaps a beautiful forest on a summer day hike.
Maybe your place is outside in nature,
Underneath the stars,
Basking in the Milky Way glow on a cold winter night.
Maybe your place is a place you've never been,
And then today you're going to create this place in your imagination.
However you choose to create your place,
Know that it is perfect and as it should be,
Just like you.
So continue to breathe deeply.
Begin to notice this beautiful place and begin to notice all of the colors that you can see.
Look around your place,
Maybe take a walk,
And just breathe in deeply all of these beautiful colors that you're seeing.
Begin to notice any sounds that you might hear and breathe deeply.
Begin to notice how your body is feeling in this moment as you're standing in this amazing place that you're creating with your imagination.
Can you feel the warmth or the coolness of the air?
Can you smell anything wafting through the air?
Look around and notice what can you touch with your hands or your feet and breathe deeply.
Perhaps you want to lie down in your calm place and give yourself permission to do whatever it is that you need to do in this place to help your body and your mind to become quiet and to relax.
Remember to breathe deeply.
You are on this journey to allow yourself to feel peace and love and compassion and relaxation.
This is your time and your place.
Breathe in the peacefulness and the relaxation and the love and allow it to become one with you.
Breathe deeply.
And now I want you to think of a name for this beautiful place that you have created in this moment.
And as you are walking around in your calm place,
I want you to say that name that you've created to yourself or out loud as you breathe in deeply.
Notice how relaxed your body is in this moment.
Notice how quiet your mind is.
You are where you are meant to be as you are beginning to make your way back to this moment in this time.
Slowly open your eyes and wiggle your toes and your fingers and bring you back to the present moment.
And know that you have the power to use your calm place at any time and anywhere to help you to de-stress and relax.
