Welcome.
This is a violet flame meditation,
A practice for cleansing,
Balance,
And inner stillness.
Take a moment to settle into a position that feels supportive for your body.
You may sit comfortably with your spine gently upright or lie down and allow yourself to be supported.
Let your hands rest naturally.
Take a slow breath in through the nose and an unhurried breath out.
Allow the exhale to soften your jaw,
Your shoulders,
Your belly.
There is nothing you need to prepare.
Begin by noticing your breath moving in and out.
Notice sensations in your body.
Notice sounds in the room.
And then notice the simple awareness that is noticing.
Thoughts may move.
Sensations may shift.
But awareness itself remains steady.
Rest there for a few breaths.
Now imagine above the crown of your head,
A steady violet light.
It is luminous,
But not harsh.
Warm,
But not overwhelming.
The violet flame represents transformation and release.
It symbolizes the capacity to shift what feels heavy or stagnant into something clear and more balanced.
You can relate it symbolically or energetically,
Whatever feels natural.
When you are ready,
Imagine this violet light slowly descending from above.
It moves gently over the crown of your head,
Around your face,
Down your neck and shoulders,
Down your arms and torso,
Surrounding your entire body in a quiet field of violet light.
You are not being consumed by it.
You are simply held within it.
As you inhale,
Imagine the violet light entering your body.
As you exhale,
Allow it to move through areas of tension or mental strain.
If something feels heavy,
A worry,
A lingering emotion,
A repetitive thought,
You may imagine placing it into the violet light.
There is no force here,
Just a gentle dissolving,
Like ink dispersing in water.
You are not pushing anything away.
You are allowing space.
As this continues,
Notice something subtle.
The light moves,
Sensations shift,
Thoughts come and go,
And awareness remains.
You are not the tension.
You are not the passing emotion.
You are the steady presence,
Observing the experience.
Rest there.
Now imagine the violet light moving through your entire field,
Clearing what feels unnecessary,
Restoring balance where there has been excess or depletion.
No dramatic change,
Just subtle recalibration.
Let the breath be natural.
Let the body soften.
Gradually allow the violet light to become softer.
Perhaps it settles into the heart as a quiet glow.
Notice the quality of your mind now.
Notice your breath.
Notice the simple steadiness of being here.
There is nothing more to do.
Begin to feel the surface beneath you.
Take a slightly deeper breath in and a slow breath out.
When you're ready,
Gently open your eyes.
Carry this sense of steadiness and clarity with you.
Transformation does not need to be intense.
Sometimes it is simply the willingness,
The willingness to pause and allow.
