Hi everyone,

My name is Helton and today I'll be leading you through a breath exercise.

It's quick,

It's simple and it really does help do the trick on just connecting to the breath and really coming into the present moment.

With that,

I think we're ready to get started.

If you're sitting down in your chair just make sure that your feet are firmly placed on the ground.

You can place your hands on your knees or in your lap.

Standing up nice and tall,

The spine is long.

Slightly lift from the sternum.

Shoulders move down and back away from the ears.

If you haven't done so already you can begin to close the eyelids or just bring your gaze down in front of you.

Let's begin to bring our awareness to our breath.

Going in through the nose and out through the nose.

Finding your own rhythm and really sending that breath all the way down to the belly.

Activating your parasympathetic nervous system and just allowing for a sense of vivid relaxation to come over your body.

Trying to find that natural pace,

That natural rhythm to your breath.

Letting go of any distractions,

Anything that might be on your mind and just allowing your breath to be your main source of focus,

Your main source of awareness.

As we close our practice today,

Let's take two deep cleansing breaths.

In through the nose and out through the nose.

One last one.

In through the nose and out through the nose.

Can slowly begin to open your eyelids,

Roll out the shoulders,

Rock the neck from side to side.

With that,

Hope you enjoyed your practice and have an amazing day.
