What is fear? An unpleasant emotion in response to a perceived danger, pain or harm which might not be real in the first place. Have you noticed that fear or anxiousness is often stemming from anticipation of future events or perceived threats. Whenever you feel your mind is panicking just take out 4 minutes and come back to this guided meditation.

Close your eyes.

Take a deep breath in.

And exhale slowly.

Let your body relax.

Let your mind soften.

Let your mind relax.

Now bring your attention to your chest.

Notice if there is any tightness,

Any tension.

This is where fear often resides.

It may feel like a knot,

A weight,

Or a fluttering sensation.

Instead of pushing it away,

Invite it to the surface.

Say to it,

I see you.

I feel you.

I am here with you.

Now imagine this fear as a dark cloud.

It may feel heavy,

But it is not solid.

It is made of thoughts,

Memories,

And energy.

And just like a cloud,

It can dissolve.

With each breath,

Imagine a gentle wind blowing through this cloud.

Watch as it begins to break apart,

Piece by piece.

Some pieces may float away.

Others may transform into light.

As the cloud dissolves,

Feel the space it leaves behind.

This space is peace.

This space is freedom.

Now place your hand over your heart and say to yourself,

I am safe.

I am strong.

I am supported.

Feel the truth of these words filling the space where fear once was.

You are safe.

You are strong.

You are supported.

Take one last deep breath in.

And exhale slowly.

When you're ready,

Open your eyes.

I am carrying this peace with you.
