Hello my friend,
Welcome to this practice to help restore balance to your body and your mind and to reconnect you to spirit and the truest intentions of your heart.
Let's first take a moment to set you up.
So sit with your spine tall,
Relax your shoulders back and down,
Soften your belly,
Soften your brow,
Release your jaw and rest here a minute.
Sense your heart open,
Close your eyes.
Now I'd love you to bring attention to your breath.
Notice the effortless flow of your breath in and out through your nose.
This natural gentle exchange of breath in and out receiving and giving.
So to bring some of that balance to your body and your mind I want you to begin to even out the length of your breath by inhaling and exhaling roughly for the count of five.
So five in and five out.
For the next two minutes let's balance your breath in this way.
Five counts in,
Five counts out.
Relax and allow this even rhythm to settle and align your mind and your body.
Notice how the simple act of keeping this rhythm gives your mind something to focus on and through that some of the residual mind chatter starts to drop away.
Sense the mind becoming quieter and your body settling in.
Really good job.
So now for the last minute if you like,
Add in a pause between the breaths.
So inhaling five then gently holding the breath in for five counts then exhale for five and suspend the breath for five counts and repeat that.
One more minute.
In,
Pause and out,
Pause.
Settling and balancing.
Sense the gentleness and the spaciousness in those spaces between the breaths.
Really good job.
Let's take two more rounds like that please.
And now begin to drop it down to two counts in and two counts out just for a couple of rounds.
So winding the breath back down and then relax the technique and just rest here for a moment.
The breath is effortless.
The mind is quiet and balanced.
Now bring your attention to your body.
Sense yourself sitting here seated tall and the spine long.
Feel the clothes against your skin and the gentle sensations of the air on your skin and really begin to sense this whole outer perimeter of your body.
Your skin holding you here.
You may notice as you bring your attention to this outer layer a gentle tingling presence.
Next sense the space around your body to be a source of healing presence.
An endless sea of nourishment and grace and balance and love.
As you take your next inhale see this healing and balancing and loving presence move through your skin towards your spine.
As you breathe out see this presence move back outwards nourishing every cell cleansing and rebalancing all the layers of the mind and even revitalizing the space outside your body.
Repeat this.
Breath in love light and presence and renewal move through your skin.
The spine becomes alive and vibrant receiving.
Breath out presence nurturance body and mind healing recalibrating and releasing.
Continue this nourishing and rebalancing process for the next few minutes.
Feel it restoring your sense of capacity.
Sense it refueling your energy.
Stabilizing your sense of resilience.
Softening any rough or hard edges.
Nurturing each layer mind heart spirit and building up your sense of being able to meet your life as the brightest and shiniest best version of you.
Beautiful job.
Now rest.
Rest.
Relax that technique and rest effortlessly here in a pool of healing.
And take a moment here in this spaciousness and quietness that you've uncovered to allow a wordless conversation to unfold within you.
What is it that calls you?
What does your essence say?
What does it long for or direct you to or share?
Take a moment to hold space for the deepest wisdom and clarity and truth to unfold from within you.
Great and now please take a breath in a deep one and let that wisdom that knowing infuse you on every level.
Feel here a deep remembrance as you exhale of your connection to life of your capacity to meet it and sense yourself completely established in your essence.
Aware of and grateful for the sacred gift of each and every moment.
Now please bring your hands together at your heart and take a moment to sense how you might like to step back out into your world from here.
Create a simple intention for how you might bring forth and share and be guided by your essence,

A smooth breath out.
