Welcome to Day 5 of Insight Timer's Intention Setting Challenge.
Setting an intention is making a decision about who you want to be and how you choose to show up.
Over time,
Those choices become change.
Let's begin.
Hello,
Everyone.
My name is Alex L,
And welcome to Day 5 of the 2026 Intention Setting Challenge.
I'm honored to guide you in this meditation that brings you closer to yourself as we walk into the new year.
As this year begins,
I decided I'm not holding a long list of goals.
I'm paying attention to the energy I want to carry forward.
So I'd like to invite you to take a moment to settle in,
Feel your body where you are,
And notice your breath without changing it.
Just let it arrive and leave.
This year,
I am choosing to show up with clarity and self-trust,
Not rushing,
Not forcing,
But listening closely to what feels honest and aligned.
I'm letting this year be one of intentional presence,
Where my choices are rooted in care,
Where my yes is clear,
And where my no is clean and kind.
If it feels supportive,
Place a hand on your heart or on your belly and ask yourself quietly,
How do I want to show up this year?
Not what you want to accomplish,
But how do you want to move,
Respond,
And tend to your life?
Take a breath in,
And as you exhale,
Imagine releasing the pressure to get it all right.
You don't have to.
Hold space for yourself and be curious about how you'd like to walk through 2026.
To support this energy,
I decided that I wanted to set a daily intention.
I'd like to invite you to do the same.
One small,
Steady choice each day that shapes the year as it unfolds.
I hope this meditation allows you the space to return to yourself daily,
To choose presence over performance with each inhale and exhale.
I hope your intention brings you closer to your inner compass.
I hope you learn to trust yourself this year.
I hope you learn to soften and allow the truth of your life to lead.
Hold your intention close as you inhale and exhale.
Before we close,
I'd like you to choose one word or feeling that you want to carry into the year.
Let it land gently.
My word for 2026 is alignment.
I intend to move with deeper alignment.
Take one more deep breath in and one more exhale out.
And when you're ready,
Allow yourself to return to where your feet are.
Wiggling your toes,
Rolling your head,
Stretching your neck,
Dropping your shoulders and unclenching your jaw.
Holding your intention close.
Holding your word of the year close.
My hope for you in 2026 is that you move in a way that is rooted,
Clear,
And open to what is possible.
Thank you so much for being here with me today.
I hope your year is one that welcomes you with more ease,
More alignment,
And more growth.
Take good care.
