Hi dear one,
Today I want to invite you on a walk with me.
A walk through your own life.
Alright let's begin by getting into a comfortable position.
You can sit or lay down.
Like my mentor always says,
Comfort is queen.
So whatever is most comfortable for you.
And then if it's okay for you,
You can close your eyes and take a deep breath.
Let's focus this session today of just taking deep breaths.
Feeling your belly rise and fall as you inhale and exhale.
We're not gonna focus on breathing in any certain way.
The only thing I would invite you to do is feel comfortable and relaxed.
And now this might be a little bit dire but bear with me.
It will really truly open your eyes.
Imagine this today is the day,
End of your day.
End of your day is end of your life.
And you are taking one more walk through your life.
And imagine this path in front of you.
You're walking on this beaten path that you've walked on before.
And you can see your childhood.
You can see those famous teenage years.
You go into your young adulthood.
Go into an adult.
And then you age into the person that you are right now.
The person you are right now who is looking back at your life.
And as you're walking through your life with this retrospect in mind,
What are the things that you would change?
Are there things that you would change?
And are there things that you regret?
Or perhaps things that you would have done more of?
And as you're thinking about this walk through life as your last one,
What things would you actually truly nurture more of?
Would you read that extra bedtime story?
Would you linger a few more hours at your friend's house?
Would you stay in the ocean a moment longer?
Perhaps sleep in another morning or two?
Stop and smell the roses.
Take that job that your heart calls for.
Go on that trip.
Visit your grandmother.
Sit down and read your book and pet your animal.
Which one of these things would you do more of?
And also if you knew you only had this time,
Would you really let things bother you?
The guy that's honking in traffic.
The person that cuts in front of you at the post office.
The late fee on that bill you forgot to pay.
Or that job you didn't get when you took a chance.
The second place in the competition that you wanted to win.
A silly fight with your spouse or your best friend.
Would you really stay in those irritated feelings?
I think most of us wouldn't.
And since we all are walking through our lives in our life right now and we will all end up in a place where one day we are looking back,
I invite you to really truly take a moment to see how you can be more in your life right now.
This is your life.
This is it.
The biggest failure is not failing.
The biggest failure is not even trying.
Because then you can't fail.
Life is here to be lived and you are loved.
This is your permission to go out there.
Take another couple of deep breaths and let that walk really settle in into your body and into your being.
And when you feel comfortable you can open your eyes.
You got this.
Enjoy this beautiful walk of life.
