Hi dear one,
I'm so happy that you're here today with me and with yourself.
My name is Alexandra Nash and I'm an Unplugged meditation teacher.
Today I'm here to tell you that you don't have to do more.
And I hope by the end of this moment that we have together,
You will also tell yourself that same message.
I don't have to do more.
All right,
Let's start today by sitting in a comfortable position.
You can either sit on the ground and cross your legs,
Sit on a chair.
You can even lay down if that feels more comfortable for you.
And if you're in a place of comfort and you feel safe and secure,
You can also go ahead and close your eyes.
Let's take a few breaths together in however way that comes natural to you.
And as you're taking those breaths,
Try to put your focus on how the breath relaxes your body.
Feel how your arms are getting a little bit heavier.
Your sit bones are grounding even more into the surface.
Your entire face relaxes.
Your eyebrows,
Your jaw and your fingertips and your toes.
And as we're sitting here together,
I want to remind you that you are a human being and not a human doing.
There is a reason why so many of us get our best ideas in the shower.
The shower still is a safe space from a lot of distractions.
And I want to encourage you to try and create more of those spaces with less distractions.
Because it's very often in the white space that the real work gets done.
Keep taking breaths that relaxes your body and see how that lands for you.
I am a human being,
Not a human doing.
I believe it's not by chance that many of the greatest books were written on a nature walk.
Some of the best ideas came up on a surf in the ocean.
Some of the best music was written in the shower.
I think it's time for us to really feel like we deserve the white space.
The white space is what makes us human beings.
And it is ultimately also what will make us more productive.
But it won't be in the doing,
It will be in the being.
Let's take a few more deep breaths and feel how the air is rushing through your body.
Perhaps your fingertips are tingling a little bit.
And your neck relaxes a little bit more.
As you're taking your next breath you can start stretching your body a little bit.
Move your neck to the side.
Move your fingers and your toes and you can open your eyes.
Have a beautiful day,
My dear human being,
And I hope to see you soon.
