This is a really helpful exercise to listen to for a complete body and mind reset.
Always useful if you've had a stressful day or you're just feeling like some real self-care is required.
So please get yourself comfortable.
I always recommend lying down for this exercise if it's all possible because then if you want to you can drift off to sleep.
So make yourself comfortable,
Pause the recording if you need to just to find a comfortable space to lay down.
And then from here I'd like you to place your hands on your stomach and then just notice the rise and fall of your breath.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and then exhale through the mouth.
Taking this time just to settle down.
We're going to begin by you imagining a really lovely pure white light shining down on the top of your head.
A really simple way to create this is to imagine what the sunlight feels like on a lovely summer's day when you're laying on the beach.
That sensation of warmth and light on the top of your head.
I want you to bring your attention to that feeling of warmth and allow that warmth to travel now.
It travels all the way down across your face,
Radiating out across your entire face,
Radiating down around your neck and your shoulders,
Moving gradually down to your chest and then down to your stomach area.
Just holding in the stomach area for a moment.
And then you allow that warm healing light just to move down to your hips,
Wrapping itself around your hips to your lower back.
It now moves down your thighs,
Then on down to your shins,
Ankles,
And then moving down to your feet.
I'd like you to hold the light there around your feet just for a moment,
Almost like that sensation of stepping into a really nice,
Warm,
Relaxing bath.
And then that warmth starts to travel up your body.
It travels up the backs of your legs and it moves slowly and gradually up your entire body until your whole body is encased in this pure,
Warm,
Glowing white light.
And in this space,
I want you to bring to mind anything that you'd like to bring healing to.
Perhaps you've got some pain,
Perhaps there's an issue in your body that you're dealing with that you need help with,
And you allow that light to radiate towards any areas that need that extra love and attention.
And the light moves all around you,
Glowing,
Wrapping itself around you,
Fluid,
Moving into any space it needs to,
And bringing it up to the top of your head again.
Holding that light across your face now.
With your eyes closed,
You might notice you've become aware of a sensation of light.
Some people see colours.
Just holding that light there for a moment,
Breathing in through the nose deeply,
And exhale through the mouth,
Blowing away any troubles.
Before we finish,
Just having your hands now move onto your heart area and becoming aware of that natural warmth that now radiates from the palms of your hands,
Allowing that warmth to radiate into your chest area,
Wrapping itself around you like a warm blanket.
You feel calm and quiet.
You allow yourself to take this moment for you just to be still,
Just to allow this healing light to travel where it's needed,
Bringing your attention now to your breathing,
Slow and steady and calm,
Bathed in this pure healing light.
