
Morning Meditation - Today Is A Great Day
This guided meditation uses positive affirmations to allow for a great day. We start with centering, and breath work, followed by affirmations to support what it is we wish to create and experience. This meditation is best done through repetition by making it part of a regular practice.

Hello and welcome to this morning meditation.
My name is Alison Klechtel and this meditation has been created to help set up your day.
While you can listen to this meditation at any point of the day,
It's a great way to take some time to yourself in the morning before checking your phone or being pulled to other distractions so you can set some time for you and what it is you want to create.
You are welcome to listen to these words as is or you can repeat them to yourselves as you listen.
But if you can,
Feel into these statements and start to open to the feeling that would imply that it is already true.
Depending on what you're moving through or working with,
Some of this may feel easy,
Some of it may feel like a bit of a stretch.
If it doesn't feel believable to you,
See if you can feel into the idea that these statements are possible.
This is a practice that is best done with repetition by making it part of a regular practice.
I hope this meditation can support you in some way.
And with that,
Let's begin.
So you want to find either a tall comfortable seat or you can do this lying down.
And if it feels good,
You can place one hand to your heart,
One hand to your stomach.
Otherwise feel free to have your palms either facing down or up on your lap or to your sides.
And I just want you to begin to take a few deep breaths here just to really land into your body.
So noticing the points of contact that are supported,
Noticing how your body currently feels.
And you may just be getting out of bed.
This might be one of the first things that you're doing or you perhaps may have been up for a while.
But noticing if you feel tired,
If you feel energized,
Maybe you feel a bit stiff or sore,
Maybe you feel spacious.
It can be anything.
It can be things that I'm not even listing.
And this practice of being to cultivate this awareness of our current experience to acknowledge what our starting point is to accept where we are in our personal journey.
And so from there you might notice there's a thought that visits.
And the thought may be something that serves you.
It might be something very random.
It might be to-do lists for later on in the day.
It might be things that happened last night or the week before and things you're working with.
Or perhaps the mind already feels very clear.
And from here we want to start to direct our awareness back to our body by coming back to the breath.
All right,
So we're not pushing thoughts away.
We're not pushing an experience away.
But we're allowing ourselves to arrive back into this present moment as it is.
So feeling into your body,
Feeling into your breath,
And just starting with a deep inhale in through your nose.
And then through your nose,
Exhale,
Let that go.
And again,
Take a full breath in.
And then a full breath,
Exhale and release.
On your next inhale,
Counting in for a breath of four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Hold your breath at the top for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Pause for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Inhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Pause for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale for three,
Two,
One.
Pause for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Two more rounds.
Inhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Pause for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale for three,
Two,
One.
Pause for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Last time.
Four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Exhale for four,
Three,
Two,
One.
Pause for four,
Three,
Two,
And one.
And then return back to your natural breath.
And then feeling into your body.
Once more,
You can simply just allow yourself to feel into these statements,
Or you can repeat them to yourself,
Whether silently in your mind's eye,
Or if you prefer to say them quietly out loud,
That's fine too.
But begin to feel in your heart center,
Being the area in and around your heart that today is going to be a great day.
Today is going to be a great day.
Today I open myself to wonderful and pleasant experiences.
Today I allow myself to receive all the goodness that awaits for me.
I am in a state of flow with the universe,
And all that I need is made available to me now.
I trust that I am supported in all that I do.
I believe that wonderful things are possible for me.
I am always in the right place at the right time.
I am feeling on top of the world.
I am feeling loving and kind towards everyone I meet.
Everyone I meet is kind and loving towards me.
Today is filled with positive encounters and interactions.
I am feeling my best.
I am looking my best.
I am feeling amazing.
I am amazing.
Everything is working out in my favor.
Circumstances are changing in my favor.
Everyone is happy to see me.
Everyone is helpful towards me.
I am receiving the best treatment from everyone.
I am glowing and radiant.
I light up a room when I walk in.
I feel confident.
I feel beautiful.
I feel relaxed and at ease.
I feel secure within myself.
I feel whole and complete.
I feel like I can accomplish all of my tasks with ease.
I am inviting wonderful experiences into my life.
I am feeling abundant.
Everything is flowing to me with ease.
I am feeling fulfilled.
I am feeling grateful.
I can easily see the beauty that exists in every day.
I can easily see the beauty that exists in every one.
I can easily see the beauty that exists within myself.
I am feeling lovable.
I am feeling loved.
I am feeling loving.
I am feeling good about myself and all that I do.
I am feeling valued and important.
I am feeling appreciated and respected.
I am feeling seen,
Heard,
Appreciated and valued.
I feel like I am making a positive difference.
I know that I am making a positive difference.
Today is a great day.
Today everything is working out for me.
Today amazing things are happening for me.
Today is the day that I get what I want.
Today I am open to things being better than I can imagine.
Today I open myself to experience the best that life has to offer.
And just continue to breathe within the space within your heart,
Within your body,
Within your own being,
And knowing that today is in fact going to be an amazing day because you are declaring it to be so by creating the experience within.
Take these next few deep breaths here just to really let this settle and land into your body,
To feel it into your heart.
And if there's any other words or statements or feelings you'd like to call in to invite into your experience,
Taking the time for yourself to do so and allowing yourself to bask in these feelings.
And when you feel ready,
You can open your eyes.
