Hello and welcome to this,
A very simple but powerful guided meditation.
Simply a way of taking a moment,
Being able to breathe deeply and allow your troubles,
Maybe for a moment or even longer,
Simply to be able to pass,
For you to be able to leave them behind.
Now you can sit or lay or stand wherever you choose to right now to simply engage and listen to the sound of my voice as my voice goes with you and guides you through this very simple breathing exercise,
This very simple visualization in order to be able to take a moment and leave the troubles of the world behind.
But as you use this more and more and play with it,
Feel confident and at peace simply with how this makes you feel.
You'll find that you'll be able to use this when driving or walking or in those situations in life where you're having a conversation and it's just need to breathe and simply let whatever you're feeling pass.
But for now just make sure that you're in a place where you won't be interrupted or disturbed and you can simply just take a moment and follow what I have to share with you.
First things first,
Just simply start to breathe.
Breathe as slowly as you can,
Just paying as much attention as possible,
Allowing that breath to travel deep into your body.
As you inhale and then as you exhale,
Simply allow that breath to travel as deep inside you as you can allow it to do so.
Deep down,
Deep inside.
And maybe now just simply think of a situation in life that's been getting you down or has been agitating you,
Has been knocking you off your focus,
Something that may simply have bothered you.
And as you do that,
Just simply notice the change that occurs in your breathing.
What I'd like you to do now is just to use your active imagination and with your eyes open or your eyes closed,
Just simply imagine wearing a really heavy,
Hot,
Clammy suit of armour.
Just notice how as you can imagine that,
You can feel the weight as it pulls down on your shoulders,
As your body feels compressed and constricted,
Hot and clammy.
And pause for a moment just to notice how uncomfortable you feel right now as you think about this situation and feel the armour,
Heavy,
Clammy,
Compressing as it weighs on your body.
Now simply imagine removing the armour,
Allowing it simply to fall away and notice as you do that you just suddenly take a big inhale of breath that travels deep into your body.
Notice that you feel a huge sigh of relief,
Maybe even want to actually sigh out loud.
And as you do that right now,
Just notice how you feel free.
And for the next minute,
Maybe two.
Breathe.
Breathe deeply and allow each breath to feel as though it was your first.
Free of the burdensome weight of the armour.
Breathing deep,
Feeling free,
Feeling light,
Feeling free right now.
And simply check back in with that old situation.
Chances are it no longer feels the same.
Chances are you could even smile.
And maybe you notice just how free you feel.
That maybe you've got a new insight in how to respond or to deal with it or maybe it just feels as though it's significantly further away than it did only a few moments ago.
And just notice how you've got a renewed sense of energy and vigour.
And more importantly,
A smile.
Breathing deeply and with a smile and with your new sense of energy and vigour.
Simply whenever you're ready,
Open your eyes and step back into your day,
Carrying your smile with you wherever you choose to keep it right now.
