In this practice, you will start with a breathing exercise and then you will repeat some self-love affirmations. Affirmations are phrases which you repeat to yourself and describe how you want to be. At first, they might not be true, but with repetition, they sink into your subconscious mind, and you then start to believe in them. To get the best results, practice this session for 21 days in a row.

Hi there,

It's Andrew.

So today we are going to try meditation and affirmations at the same time.

If you are new to this practice,

Affirmations are phrases which you repeat to yourself and describe how you want to be.

At first,

They might not be true,

But with repetition they sing into your subconscious mind and you then start to believe in them.

It's one of the best ways to reset your mind by replacing negative beliefs by positive ones.

Alright,

So those affirmations will give you back the control of your mind.

Just simply repeat each affirmation after me.

Today's affirmations are about self-love.

They are here to reinforce or boost your confidence.

They will help you to love yourself,

To make you an even more beautiful and valuable human being.

There are some benefits to practicing self-love.

One of the benefits is that being kind to ourselves lowers anxiety and stress and helps build self-esteem and resilience.

If you don't develop a good relationship with yourself,

You may fall into bad habits like people pleasing and perfectionism and you may be more likely to tolerate abuse.

And I want you to live a fulfilling life where you respect yourself,

Where you deserve to be happy in your skin,

Where you love your body,

Where you believe in yourself and where you are comfortable being who you truly are.

This is one important point to remember before we start these affirmations.

You need to involve your feelings in the process.

So I'd recommend you to feel gratitude,

Happiness and appreciation from the bottom of your heart.

One more thing,

You can do this practice either in front of a mirror and look at yourself straight in the eyes or in your usual position and close your eyes to look within.

So let's start with our meditation and find a relaxed and comfortable position.

Allow yourself to get comfortable when your spine is straight and your back is nice and tall.

You can rest your hands wherever it feels comfortable and allow your body to rest down to gravity.

Let's take a deep inhale for 1,

2,

3,

4 and we'll slow exhale for 4,

3,

2 and 1.

Inhale for 1,

2,

3 and 4 and exhale for 4,

3,

2 and 1.

In and out.

In and out.

And I'll let you continue on your own.

Alright,

So if you haven't done so,

You can close your eyes gently and you can let your breath be natural and easy.

I invite you to place both hands over your heart and just feel your heart beat.

Keep your hands over your heart and bring your attention to your breath now.

So every in-breath your heart expands and every out-breath your heart takes back its initial shape.

So how does it feel to place your hands over your heart?

This place where you experience love for yourself and others?

That's right.

Don't try to control your breathing,

Just simply observe.

How are you feeling at this very moment?

Okay so now that you have connected with yourself,

Just repeat those affirmations.

I am a good person.

I am confident and strong.

I am very secure with myself.

My self-esteem is growing day by day.

I believe in myself.

I believe in my abilities.

I am in control of my life.

I am happy and full of joy.

I am creating a beautiful life.

I deserve to be happy.

I am worthy of love and attention.

I deserve success and wealth.

I have unique abilities.

I am worthy of having great relationships.

Every day my self-worth is growing.

I am attracting good things in my life.

My friends and family respect me.

I deserve to be treated with respect.

I am worthy of love.

I make a difference in the world.

I am worthy of making my dreams come true.

I love and respect myself for who I am.

I deserve to have what I want.

I love the person I am becoming.

I am improving every day.

I have the power to change anything I want.

I make good and wise decisions.

I radiate with self-confidence.

I deserve to be treated with respect.

I am pure beauty.

I am love.

And I am me.

Well done,

So tune in with your breathing.

We can now open your eyes.

So how do you feel right now?

Repeat these affirmations every day or as you need them,

And then experience the positive changes they bring to your life.

Take the time that you need and whenever you are ready,

You can stand up and enjoy the rest of your day.
