So getting comfortable,
Sitting as you are if you want to.
No need to make a big event out of this,
It's all just a continuation of life.
So close your eyes if you want to,
Place your hand on your heart and bring your awareness to your heart space and notice what's there for you right now,
Doing this very gently noticing if the mind jumps in,
Wondering if you're doing it right,
Whether you've found the heart space or you're just sitting here doing nothing,
Our minds will always find an opportunity.
So very simply meeting yourself in your heart space,
You can even say how are you today,
What's here for you and if you notice some tightness,
Inviting in a little bit more space around your heart,
Room to breathe,
A little more room to be.
This is a shared human experience,
You're not on your own as you sit,
In fact it's likely there will be other people sitting and meditating right now,
Working with their inner world,
Their troubles and their past and their history,
The tangle that we often feel that we're in,
We're all in this together and you can listen to your heart anytime and it will tell you everything and it will give you everything,
It will remind you that you are complete,
That things will be okay,
Not always in the way you think and our hearts remind us that we're connected to everything and when all else is stripped away,
All that's left is love.
