Taking some time to get comfortable in your seat.
Noticing the way you're meeting the earth,
Or the cushion or the couch or the chair.
Just the way you're being supported.
Allow the energy of your day to melt away.
Whatever has come before,
And whatever is yet to come.
Just place it to the side for now.
Closing your eyes if that feels comfortable for you.
Turning your attention to your breath.
Try not to change it at first.
Just taking this opportunity to notice what is.
How is your breath moving through your body right now?
And when you feel ready,
Beginning to create longer,
Deeper breaths.
Inhaling and exhaling through the nose.
Taking your time,
Allowing the breath to become slower,
Deeper.
Taking your attention to your jaw,
Allow it to soften.
Notice your shoulders.
Let them relax a little bit more.
And then when you feel ready,
Bringing your attention back to your seat,
The base of your body as it meets whatever it is you're sitting on.
Begin to pull energy up from the earth through the root chakra,
The seat,
The base of the spine.
Begin to pull up that grounding,
Supportive,
Strengthening earth energy.
Bringing it into your body.
And then sending it up through the spinal column,
All the way to the crown chakra and sending that earth energy out to the sky.
Doing that a few times,
Pulling that earth energy up,
Moving it through the spine,
Allowing it to touch each chakra,
Root,
Sacral,
Solar plexus.
Start,
Throat,
Third eye,
And out the crown into the universe.
Taking your time,
There is nowhere else you need to be.
This is exactly what you need to be doing right here,
Right now.
Doing two more rounds,
Connecting to that earth energy,
Pulling it up,
Sending it all the way through you,
Out the crown into the universe.
And once more,
Inhaling all the way up and sending it out of the crown.
And noticing the breath,
Slow and steady.
And then doing a few more rounds of just regular breath here,
Releasing the connection to the earth energy.
And then just noticing one last moment here,
Scanning your body from the feet,
All the way up to the crown.
And then just noticing if there's any parts of your body that are asking for a little bit more love,
Sending some love to those spaces.
When you feel ready,
Slowly coming back to this time,
This place,
And opening your eyes.
