Creative visualisation for confidence.

Take a moment or two to find a comfortable spot where you won't be disturbed for the short time this will take.

Where you can relax and let go,

Lying comfortably with your legs on the floor and your arms resting by your sides.

Take a few nice deep breaths.

You can relax,

Knowing there is nothing more for you to do except be here,

Right now,

Listening to my voice.

You can let all other worries,

Thoughts or concerns gently slip away as you relax here now.

And as you lie here comfortably,

Focus on your breathing.

And notice that you can take in a deep breath and release it fully.

Take in a deep breath and release it fully.

Notice your chest as you breathe in and out.

Notice the rise and fall of your abdomen as you breathe in and you breathe out.

Notice the feel of the breath on your top lip as the warm air passes gently through your nostrils.

Remember how good it feels to release and to relax.

I'm going to take you on a journey through a green luscious forest.

You can see it there in front of you,

Can't you?

In your mind,

You walk towards the forest and as you enter the lush green forest,

You notice that the air is comfortably warm.

And there is a refreshing dew on the greenery and the grass at your feet.

What else do you notice?

Notice the crisp air around you and how clean the air feels.

Notice the smell of the flowers that grow wildly and beautifully amongst the trees.

Feel refreshed by the wonder of nature all around you.

You find it refreshing and uplifting.

You notice how good it is to feel free and at peace,

Like you do right here,

Right now.

Can you hear the birds flitting between the trees?

Can you feel the rush of the breeze against your cheeks?

I want you to notice that this forest gives you a feeling of lightness,

A sense of confidence and clarity.

And take a few moments now to notice how good it feels to be here.

And now,

As you walk through the forest,

You are drawn to a light up ahead.

The light is appealing and compelling and you are moved to enter the light,

Knowing it is safe and peaceful to do so.

As you enter that light,

So dazzling,

So bright and yet utterly appealing,

You notice that any self-doubt or hesitation slides completely away.

And you are left with the very best version of yourself.

A version of you that is confident and capable in every fibre of your being.

Notice how good it feels to be your most confident self.

Breathe into that feeling and let it permeate your whole body as the warmth from the light adds warmth to your body and helps you glow within.

You are glowing within,

In your most confident self,

Knowing that whatever lies ahead,

You can face it full of confidence and clarity.

Notice that you can turn up the dial of that feeling.

Take it from where it is now,

On a scale of one to ten.

Take it from this feeling of being confident at what,

Level three or four or five,

And turn it up.

Turn it right up.

Notice how comfortable it is to be this confident and how compelling and how easy it is right now to be confident.

Leave the dial on the number that you know instinctively is right and easy for you.

Do it now.

That's right.

Notice how that feeling exists in your body as you breathe deeply and fully and take some time now to integrate this new way of feeling into your being at every level.

Feel yourself glowing and vibrating with energy radiating through you.

Do it right now.

Do it now.

Know that when you step out of the light,

This feeling can go with you and you can be this most confident self anytime you choose.

It is always within you.

And now it's time to leave the light taking with you all that it has given you,

Knowing it is now a part of you.

When you're ready,

I want you to walk back through the forest.

Becoming aware of the sounds around you and with every step you take,

Noticing you're more and more aware of your body and more and more aware of your breath.

And now,

As you lie here or sit here,

Aware that you are listening to me.

Begin to notice your body as it is here and now and to your breath in this present moment.

Become aware of the sensations of the floor beneath you and the sounds around you and return fully to yourself.

Take a calming,

Deep,

Deep breath and when you are ready,

Knowing that you are full of confidence,

Open your eyes and wide awake.
