I'm Arielle Hecht and I'm here with Michael McIntosh.
Between us we've been practicing meditation for over 30 years and have supported thousands of souls in meditation over the years and it is our great joy and honor to be with you here today.
In this first session we'll be exploring why we need the Spiritual Charge,
What is the Spiritual Charge,
And why is it important.
How does spiritual power impact us and our lives very practically?
So we're so blessed to be here and the whole point of Spiritual Recharge is to feel more joy and more love and more bliss and more peace.
Just tune into your heart.
How does it feel to you when you live your life?
Imagine that one of the days you've had where you feel really really good,
You're happy,
You feel relaxed,
Just imagine some of the happiest times in your life.
And when you feel good I'm sure you've noticed that everything in your life seems easier,
Seems more fun,
And if there are any challenges you can kind of brush them off,
You can kind of just say it's no big deal,
It's fine,
Everything's fine.
So the more charged we are internally,
The more our life is enjoyable and more we can live,
We can feel alive.
Now compare that with how you feel if you're feeling tired,
Anxious,
Fearful,
Worried,
Sad,
Lonely,
Pain.
Yeah when we're in that state,
The blues,
The dark clouds,
Even small things become a big deal for us and we don't want to go on and life seems pointless and awful.
Just tune into these two different states of being.
Which one would you prefer to increase?
So this is the whole point of spiritual recharge is to come into that beautiful state of peace and power and higher vibrations,
Higher consciousness,
Higher self,
Divine love and peace.
And just like a physical battery can get discharged,
Drained when you use it,
Like your cell phone,
You might charge it all the way up and it's all nice and charged,
You have that little green symbol,
It's all fully charged,
You can use it,
You're not worried about it and then it starts going down,
It goes into the yellow and then it goes into the red and then it just cuts off and it just doesn't work anymore and then you have to charge it again.
And if you have a flashlight and when it's got full batteries you can wander around and you can see in the dark but once it starts draining out it barely works and you can barely get any light out of it.
If you've ever been in a car and your car has died on you,
You know what it's like,
You can't even start the car,
You can get stranded.
We were stranded up in the mountains one time,
Our car died when we were camping up in the middle of nowhere and we were stuck,
You know,
So there's huge consequences of having a drained battery.
So spiritual recharge really is understanding that we are spiritual beings,
We have an energy inside of us and when we charge that energy it means that we raise up,
It's like filling up the battery,
Like rising up higher and higher and higher and you can live from that beautiful state of freedom like a flying bird in the sky.
Freedom and peace and power.
And so spiritual recharge is a profound experience of belonging to the divine and it's a relationship.
So the examples of car,
The cell phone,
These are all non- living things but there's a real clarity there about when the battery is no longer charged it doesn't work.
And it's the same for us over time,
Over time as energy goes into motion it gradually loses speed,
Loses power and so it's this bond of love that we have with the supreme,
The supreme power,
The supreme being that a deep sense of belonging and as we connect with that supreme power the one who recharges the battery of our soul.
We become filled with that same divine energy that is of God.
So God is the ocean of love,
The ocean of peace,
The ocean of power,
Bliss,
Purity and as we connect with that one we are colored by that higher company,
That holy company and those qualities of energy,
That spiritual charge,
Those vibrations are received into our being and become part of our being where we charge,
Where we nude,
We're full of this divine pure light.
And certainly as we go through this process of spiritual recharge as we'll talk more and more about,
The energy that drains us will get brought to the surface to be cleansed out.
It kind of reminds me of our car only really likes the highest quality gas and if we put the lower quality in it doesn't run very well so it's like when we have the lower quality vibrations in us it needs to get cleaned out and we need that highest quality supreme energy to really run and be and live and create and express in this world in a divine way.
So what we're going to be sharing with you is how to get the charge,
How to get the charge and I just want to share a little story with you.
When I was starting all this you know I was using the word God and there were different words that we use,
Different concepts.
I was a teenager when I first came across spiritual knowledge and I'm actually the son of a priest so I was in the living in the priest's house and as a teenager there's a rebellious streak I'm sure you can appreciate that with teenagers so I wasn't really gung-ho about this whole spiritual or religious background and doing all these things so I was kind of rebelling against God or about you know things to do with that and I went through my whole process of being a teenager doing teenage sort of things and parties and all this stuff and I ended up feeling very confused and lonely and depressed after a while because there's only so much parties and fun and games you can have before it kind of gets a bit boring and draining and I was feeling like my batteries were low even though I wouldn't have used those words at the time so finally I decided I should at least try this stuff out why not at least learn these things and my mother had been practicing meditation for many years and I noticed that she changed her life in a remarkable way she went from someone who was very depressed and neurotic and stressed out to someone who was very serene and relaxed and loving I was absolutely astounded to see her transformation she was trying to get me into meditation for years and I wasn't ready finally I decided why not give it a try and see what happens so I sat in the class and she explained to us that we are not just these physical bodies but we are beings of divine light beings of peace and we can connect with a higher power and she let us in a meditation and I was really surprised to find myself pulled out of my body and shown two paths ahead of me I could see into the future one life where I was carrying on the way I was draining my battery feeling more confused and depressed and stuck in things and I saw a new path a path of light a path of peace a path of natural joy a path where I was ascending and I was so inspired by that and I felt I had to make a decision in this other realm was pulled out of my body into the source vision so I really had to tune into this what do I want what direction do I want to take with my life and I took the first step on that new path and I felt so much love so much light flow through me and I was then pulled back in my body into the room and I felt like a whole new world opened up and my whole life has been different since then and so from the heart this is what we want to help you experience is to give you that new opportunity to experience these higher states of consciousness and peace and bliss no matter who you are where you're from or what you've been through and know that this is something that belongs to all of us and something that is innate to our soul and so we're going to be sharing exactly how you can recharge the battery of your soul you so I will read you a quote beautiful quote when you souls remember the divine the ocean of love light bliss and power your batteries become charged just as a car has a battery and the car works with the battery when the battery is charged by a current the car works then the battery gradually becomes discharged the battery then has to be connected to the main power to be recharged and is then put back into the car again those are limited matters here it is an unlimited aspect your batteries last for thousands of years then gradually while moving along it becomes a week you can tell that it hasn't completely discharged it stays a little charged just as a flashlight becomes dim this soul is the battery of this body this too becomes dull now recharge your batteries again souls cannot become recharged without remembering the supreme soul it is only with the one almighty that you have to have yoga union and so it's through this practice of Raja yoga highest yoga highest union union of myself the soul with the supreme power that we recharge our spiritual batteries receive the light receive the charge receive the power the spiritual power that each one of us is yearning for ultimately and that our world so desperately needs to so we can recharge our body by getting sleep and by eating the right foods and getting enough water and things like this sunshine we can charge our devices with the electricity plugging them in this is how do we charge ourselves on her soul our being and so it's useful to understand that whenever we do anything so if you talk if you think if you go for a walk if you work on a project if you have conversations everything takes energy even thinking requires energy and the more we do and the longer we're here on this planet the more we get dreams and it doesn't matter how many superfoods you eat and how much special stuff that you consume and this and that there's all these physical things that we can do physically to try and feel better but there's a spiritual charge which is on another level and when we realize that the only way we can get that spiritual energy is by connecting to the source to the light then our whole life can significantly improve because you know exactly where to look and exactly what to do so our intention is to teach you exactly specifically how you can practice this so that you can receive that more and more and more and more and more into your soul again and again this is the greatest gift we can give ourselves I've been studying spirituality and all these different methods for years and years and years and this is the most powerful thing of all of the methods and teachings you can come across so you've hit the jackpot won the lottery coming across this information and when you apply it you will feel the power and the bliss coming into your soul what's so beautiful is that it's all experiential isn't something that's a theory it's an experience of the spiritual energy this spiritual charge the spiritual love from the source from the one and so we'll talk about two states of awareness and what state of awareness is supportive of receiving the spiritual charge so the first state of awareness is the predominant state of awareness in our world today and we can call that body ego consciousness and body ego consciousness is a consciousness an awareness that I am this body I am limited by this body I am this personality this ego and so there's an insecurity there's a feeling of being trapped caught up in things stressed overwhelmed fearful unhappy needing irritated craving confused all of these qualities of consciousness are due to a complete forgetfulness it's like the light bulb a light bulb the light that rests behind your eyes that you are is dim there's no light in this state of consciousness there so there's just really the physical and I think because we souls because consciousness knows on some level that isn't the whole truth then it leads to so many negative feelings so much fear and this is the current state of awareness predominant predominantly in our world it's not too hard to recognize and the true state of awareness will call soul consciousness spiritual consciousness being your higher self and this is identifying with on the deepest level identifying with yourself as the unlimited being of light I am unlimited consciousness and there's a feeling of security eternity freedom peacefulness happiness contentment relaxation fulfillment there's a profound clarity and there's a profound love that pours forth from this state as we feel aware of our own true identity making that connection to the supreme to the power station is effortless because we're already in an awareness of what we are and that we belong to that one and that this spiritual power is natural is our nature is true and then this power of love is able to pour forth into our minds and hearts and overflow into the world so you can ask your heart which state do you want more of do you want to feel more negative experiences lower self body consciousness or would you like to experience your higher self more security more peace more freedom yeah a state of wonder because it begins with a choice when you have the desire to move in that direction then everything else will start to come together for you because when we say yes we open the door to new things so you can put your hand on your heart and you can ask yourself do I want to experience higher states of consciousness you would I like to recharge the battery of my soul and experience freedom do I want to come back to my highest state of being feel more joy more love more bliss as we move in that direction everything in our life gets better and so there's a secret code secret practice that unlocks this experience and it has three parts it's almost like three logs to unlock the door and we're going to be sharing this more and more with you we're just gonna tell you briefly what it is and then you can practice it and anyone can practice this and the more you do it the easier it gets the more powerful your experience will be the first step the first lock if you like is to release the awareness of the body physical relationships and opinions now what does that mean it means when we're trapped in obsessing about the body thinking I am the body caught up in relationships caught up in our opinions caught up in our stuff we're so caught up in everything there's no space for our higher self we came into this world with nothing and we're gonna leave with nothing so the body doesn't belong to us it's temporary all our physical stuff is all gonna disappear at some point or we'll lose ownership over it and our relationships will change so all these things they're very temporary we're not going to be having any of these things in a hundred years so the first step is to recognize that all these things around us everything you see with your eyes your physical body people you know things you have money in the bank account and cryptocurrencies whatever else there is all these things they're they're fine nothing wrong with them but they're all limited so this this awareness is a state of freedom and sanity it's reality it's all temporary so we can start to let go of the grip of these things because they're gonna disappear anyway so the first lock is to unlock that attachment all these limited things and the original translation for this I'll also share we're kind of breaking it down for you is renounce your body your bodily relations and your bodily religions and it's really interesting the word religion and Dharma there oftentimes Dharma is translated as religion sometimes and ultimately we all belong to the one Dharma of being spiritual beings who are free unlimited and divine so sometimes even our we can even get caught up in good things like good religious things good good things but if it's keeping us from that fundamental experience of ourselves as souls as free it's divine connected then it can be like a golden trap right if it's keeping us separate if it's somehow drawing us into body consciousness and so when we elevate into this higher state there's an experience of our fundamental nature and that this line renounce your body your bodily relations your bodily religions it's releasing the body consciousness so you're not literally like leaving the world and necessarily letting it all go you're letting go of the body consciousness and you're awakening awakening to the reality I am a soul every being in my life is an eternal beloved soul and our original religion as souls is peace so this is the essence of what is being shared in this this first part and it's really important to remember there's nothing wrong with the world we're not saying that you shouldn't have a body or the world is a problem it isn't at all probably so wonder it's a beautiful thing we're here for a reason what we're saying is to have the awareness that you are a guest because we're spiritual beings having a human experience we're here temporarily imagine you go on vacation somewhere and you stay in someone else's house and you have a little bag of things and you go wander around sightseeing and everything is new and fresh yeah that that's actually what we're dealing with it's just the time is expanded from maybe weeks or days to years or hundreds of years or even thousands of years we're having the consciousness that none of this stuff belongs to me and I'm here temporarily when we first of all start with that awareness then we can practice the next thing which is to consider ourselves to be beings of light to be spiritual beings so here we are spiritual beings the soul what is a soul soul is a being of eternal light so if you can imagine a star shining star in the sky a tiny point imagine that tiny point of light is behind your eyes spiritual consciousness and is completely free completely free shining smiling beautiful light the soul is you you are the soul the soul is the self all the memories are inside of you this light or the personality is inside of the light or the habits or the thoughts the feelings experiences so we look within and we find that there is this tiny little being non-physical light he's full and relaxed infinitely spacious there's a whole universe inside of this lights that you are right now a world inside of you and inside of each soul and all of us can come back to that beautiful state whenever we want this is our natural state we're all seeking our own higher consciousness so you can come back to that again and again that I am this being of light I am immortal I am eternal I am a guest so this practice any one of us can come back into that awareness soul is the tiniest thing smaller than the atom non-physical non-physical light so the first step like we shared is to let go of all these limited things which are very temporary then remember what is permanent that we are that beautiful light beautiful peace and then the third step is to reconnect with the source of all spiritual energy so we can get the charge so again it's from the place of soul consciousness of the feeling not just the idea that feeling that I am this divine being this spiritual light and that I belong to the supreme the supreme light that one is like the seed of this spiritual tree that we are all a part of so there's the feeling that I this soul belong to the supreme the beloved source and there's this natural connection that happens an invisible connection but a profound connection and you can feel the charge the light flooding your being you can feel you can even visualize be aware of yourself as this subtle light resting behind your eyes connecting to the great light supreme being and oceans of light golden love power purity peace flowing into your being and into your body and into the world when we remember that being the highest of all beings just imagine a spiritual Sun just like the physical Sun shines beautiful light down here on this planet there is the highest of all beings the one who can recharge us is like a being of infinite power and bliss like a sunshine Sun is shining the Sun is shining the spiritual Sun is shining and radiating into you so you are aware I am this spiritual being and I am looking at in my mind's eye in my heart this beautiful light and the beautiful light shining down straight into your heart straight into your soul just like your sunbathing in spiritual light and so as you practice this experience this soon as you look at the light and focus your heart on the light God's light divine light then that energy feels you up slowly slowly slowly second by second and you start receiving the charge this is how you plug yourself into that spiritual charger it's like connecting to the mains so we spend so much time plugging things into the wall and plugging in devices this is how we do it with ourselves and we're just giving you a very brief introduction today we can go into this in more detail this is the essence of what we want to show you today and I've always loved the quote that truth is simple all city ever complex and so to stay with this simple essence full fundamental truth of your being and of your spiritual connection and this is the core this is what it comes down to and when everything else is stripped away this is the heart of our spirituality so we invite you to practice coming into this experience again and again and it's true that the atmosphere and vibrations of our world are very different not necessarily of the same energy and so it's a practice for us to come back to this space of truth and to realize what a divine service this is not only to yourself but to all of life because we are all connected and as you remember as you recharge your own spiritual battery it's as though your inner light bulb is turned on and as you connect with others they can feel that light in their light bulb is brightened and so it's a practice for yourself and it's also a profound service for our world so today we connected about the spiritual charge that we are spiritual beings and we need to recharge our own spiritual batteries we talked about the two states of awareness body ego consciousness limited and secure stressed and soul consciousness awakening to your higher self free happy light and we talked about how to release being caught up in the physical renouncing the body consciousness your body bodily relations bodily religions and considering yourself to be a soul and as you practice this it's a little bit hard to put into words how beautiful your life can become and so I won't even speak so much to it but I will invite you to experiment for yourself and see what experience comes for you see how things change see how your experience and your feelings change and experiment with the sacred power of remembrance of spiritual recharge congratulations for discovering these secrets this is the most profound and beautiful practice and it really improves every area of life my personal life has changed massively I've had so many men magical experiences and blessings and success because of having this power this light this love and it's our deep privilege and pleasure to be able to share this with you and to help you experience this so remember it is a practice little by little one second at a time so we want to just give you a little little home play a little something to play with just practice this for one second at a time not even a minute a second you just remember I am a spiritual being connect your heart and mind to that spiritual source like a spiritual Sun shining down on you your hand on your heart just breathe in that light remember that you're safe and secure and you're being recharged from that highest unlimited source of power and as you do it you'll feel more and more energy flowing into you and drip by drip drop by drop slowly slowly the whole ocean is filled up inside of you drop by drop second by second so thank you so much
