Welcome on a short journey to feel and reconnect with your breath.
Find a comfortable seated position where your legs are cross legged,
All your soles of the feet are touching the ground beneath you.
You can feel your sitting bones being driven down by gravitation grounding you,
Helping your spine becoming long,
Your crown pointing towards the ceiling.
And now bring your awareness to your natural breath.
Feel where it goes,
What are the qualities of your natural breath.
With no judgement,
No alteration,
Being aware of it.
And then bring your awareness to your nostrils and take a deep inhale through them and long exhale.
Deep inhale where you can feel how your belly,
Ribs,
Chest are rising and expanding and long exhale which is soft is bringing the chest and belly back down.
Deep inhale where you notice how your lower belly,
Belly,
Ribs,
Chest all the way up to the clavicles are rising and expanding and long soft exhale gently contracting the body and the exhale points down towards the ground.
Each inhale is deep,
Expanding your body forward to the sides and to the back and each exhale helps release anything that needs to be shed.
The breathing is done in your own pace,
Without the force,
Without holding energy,
Allowing the breath expand your body gently in its own time going deeper and the contractions of exhale are more and more relaxing with each exhalation.
Inhales are trying to reach from the lower belly,
Lower back all the way up to the collar bones and upper back and each exhale allows the body to relax trying to really gently push the last air out.
Three more deep inhales all the way up to your collar bones and exhales slowly gently going down towards the ground.
Once you finish your last long soft exhale come back to your natural breath.
Be aware of the waves within allowing them go in and out as they need to and then bring your awareness from your breath within your body feeling your crown trying to reach the ceiling,
Your sitting bones and feet grounding down towards the ground and expanding the awareness from within your body to the space around you and when you are ready slowly blinking the eyes open coming back to the space.
