Welcome to today's practice.
My name is Mirka and I am really happy that you are joining me today.
The intensity of what surrounds us can often be the main cause of paralysis.
Our bodies freeze,
Our minds are blank and deep within is a sense of emptiness.
We drown the sorrow that surfaces in varieties of destruction,
Seeking the sense of connection,
Seeking the deeper understanding,
Hoping for the calm to arrive.
The emptiness might prevail,
Leading us to paralysis.
We look for a destruction in a quest for connection and calm.
So now I invite you to close your eyes,
Beautiful soul,
Feeling your racing heart.
It is beating so fast like an alarm bell for you to notice it.
So bring your awareness to it and touch your heart gently with your awareness,
Allowing your heart to feel your presence.
Sip a deep breath in through your nose,
Feeling your belly rising and then feeling the belly going slowly down with a long gentle exhale.
Inhale,
Feel your belly,
The sides of your body and your chest expanding,
Breathing deeply.
And with an exhale,
Feel them going down,
Slowing your breath with each sip in and exhale down.
Connecting to your heart and whisper to it that there is no need for the race,
For you are here with it.
Inhale deeply,
Exhale slowly and allow the exhale to be long.
Connect with your heart again by bringing your awareness there,
Noticing the ribs around it,
Protecting it.
And when you inhale,
The ribs expand,
Creating the space for the heart.
And you feel its heartbeat slowing down,
Being in the harmony with your breath.
You can feel a sense of relief,
As well as sense of purpose.
When you inhale deeply now,
Beautiful soul,
Lead the breath to the tips of your toes,
Your tailbones,
Your fingertips and all the way up to the crown of your head.
And with an exhale sigh everything out,
Reconnecting with your heart,
Staying with it,
Breathing slowly and deeply.
Feeling your heart and the space around it opening like a flower that opens with the touch of the sun.
Sip another deep breath in and allow the ease that came with it spread through your body,
Staying connected with your heart as well as your breath.
And whenever you are ready to enter the space around you with the sense of your eyesight,
Do so slowly,
Feeling your heart beating slowly and your breath moving within,
Supporting you throughout anything that is ahead of you.
Thank you.
