There are seasons of life where we understand and seasons of life where we don't,

Feeling like we're stranded at sea with no one in reach to save us,

Arms flailing,

Voices cracked,

Lips chapped with cries for help.

We wonder when is it ever going to end,

When will we ever see life again,

Touching the sureness of the shores and resting in the comfort of safety,

Enjoying the pleasures of contentment.

Is it gone forever?

Where did it go and how did we lose it so easily?

Looking in the mirror we forget who is looking back,

For we have spent days,

Weeks,

Months,

Years drowning in chaos and fear.

Our entire appearance has become weathered,

Altered through our very own eyes.

Where there was once happiness is now filled with anger,

Grief,

Resentment,

Regret.

A deep longing to be free of this pain,

A longing to be found,

To be saved,

To be comforted and held,

Reminding that it's going to be okay.

But everything,

Dear one,

Is going to be okay.

These are the times where we look up to the skies,

Down to our altars and deep,

Deep within.

Where we breathe love into our bodies,

Coming home to the heart of ourselves,

The core of our truth.

The ancestral knowing that we come from a lineage that has always,

Always,

Always made it through.

It is in moments like these where we can call on the wisdom of our soul,

Asking for support and guidance on what to do next.

Our view looks distorted right now and it seems like we're all alone,

But our spirit is right here with us.

Seeing into the future and speaking our name,

Holding our place,

Whispering to us,

It's time to get up.

Dear one,

Rise up out of this sunken place,

For there is so much more life to live.

This is a tough season,

But it is just that,

A season.

One thing nature has always taught us is that seasons are destined to change.

Nothing is permanent,

Nothing is fixed,

Nothing is forever.

So take a deep breath into your body and affirm with me,

This is a season,

It is not permanent,

It will change.

Take a deep breath into your body and affirm with me,

I call my power,

My spark,

My joy back to me.

Take a deep breath into your body and affirm with me,

Joy,

Happiness and contentment are always available to me.

Take one more deep breath into your body and affirm with me,

I choose to set myself free.

Beautiful.

Rest here in the knowing that you will figure it out.

There will come a day where the tides will steady and the answers will come.

And the sun,

The beautiful sun will shine gloriously on you again.

Continue to find your way back.

Wherever you have been lost,

Call yourself back,

Back,

Back.

Back to your body,

Back to your spirit,

Back to your knowing,

Back to your truth.

Deep breath in,

Deep breath out.

Inhaling understanding and exhaling any doubt.

Extending your arms out wide to your sides and bringing them across your chest.

Holding yourself in a hug,

Soft yet firm.

Reassuring yourself that steadiness is available to you.

And so it shall be.

Namaste.
