Well now,
As this is about stepping into a space for you,
I'm going to invite you to put everything down.
Breathe.
Stop looking at the to-do list or the pile of laundry over there or whatever it is that's trying to get your attention.
Take a deep breath in and sigh it out.
And another,
And perhaps bringing your vocal cords in when you breathe out this time.
And then a third,
Really breathing in to every cell.
Ah,
And breathing out.
And then rest your hands and your body.
Perhaps just being in whatever is the most restful and surrendering position for you right now.
And close your eyes.
And being in the space and energy that you are now with whatever has come before in this day.
Imagine yourself standing between two doorways.
The one behind you coming from that space with whatever has happened for you this morning or earlier this day.
And the door in front of you is for stepping into some space for yourself.
Turn to the doorway behind you and looking through.
Allow yourself to trust that you have done your best with that situation,
Those circumstances,
Those people,
And that everything will be just fine.
And with your knowing that you need some presence and some space for yourself right now,
You close that door behind you with love and boundaries.
And you turn towards the door in front of you.
And this door is open and welcoming.
It's an invitation.
So taking a breath in,
And as you breathe out,
You step through that doorway.
And you may physically need to shake off anything you don't need to take with you,
Anything that is clinging to you.
And as you move through this beautiful doorway,
You find yourself figuring your way through some undergrowth.
And there is a path through this undergrowth.
And as you move forward,
It becomes clearer that this path is actually quite easy to step through.
And as you move through,
More light comes in.
As you step forward,
Things open up.
And through the overgrowth,
The plants and trees,
A glade ahead of you becomes visible.
And you emerge into this glade.
This glade has just the right amount of space,
Sunlight,
Or moonlight,
Shade and place to rest that you need right now.
This space,
This place,
Is just what you need to step into,
To have space for yourself.
And you step in,
Claiming being present there.
And as you do so,
Check in with anything else,
Any other way of being that you want to step into this space with.
And check in with yourself to recognize and acknowledge just what you need from this time and space for yourself.
And what do you need to give yourself permission for?
To really be here,
To have this time and space for you.
And I shall leave you for however you are going to spend this time,
However you are going to be in this space.
