Reflection Space For People Who Offer Support To Others

A series of short but spacious reflection sessions for before and after being in spaces of supporting others. This course is aimed at leaders and people in postions of support at work, and is based on a 5 day week but can be used by parents and carers and adapted to a different rhythm. This is a space for you to check in with yourself, pause, transition well between different spaces and roles in your life, and to reflect on how and where you are in all this. The sessions focus on a variety of themes, including intentions, boundaries, letting go, listening to yourself, your own support needs and taking time for you. Each track is a short guided reflection, with a repeating rhythm of start and end of day sessions.


Meet your Teacher

Bryony often works with people in her coaching space who are supporting others in life; helping them to figure out their boundaries and how they want to show up in that support, providing reflection space and enabling them to find ways to 'switch off' or 'put down the load'. This course came about by someone requesting tools for reflection to be used as buffers around the spaces they hold for others.

Lesson 1

Check-in, Ground And Set Intention

Start of day check in - An intentional start to a phase of supporting others, whether the beginning of a working week, or any other phase or context of holding space, giving guidance and your capacity and gifts to others. This session aims to set you up for stepping into that space by checking in with you and visualising the path ahead.

Lesson 2

Anchor And Let Go

End of day check-in - A chance to breathe, anchor and let go of what you are holding that you don’t need to be, and to transition well into your next space or role.

Lesson 3

Checking In With Your Boundaries

Start of day check in – A time to reflect on your concerns, your boundaries and how you would like to anchor yourself to support other well and to look after you.

Lesson 4

Honouring Your Own Needs

End of day check in – A spacious track to gift yourself love, connect into what YOU need and how you can meet that, and what you are learning along the way.

Lesson 5

Taking A Breath

Start of day check in – A moment for you to take a breath; to open up, to nourish yourself, to set yourself up for supporting others and sustaining yourself well.

Lesson 6

Listening To Yourself

End of day check in – This is time to listen to YOU, just as you listen to others, so you are more able to recognise and acknowledge the parts of you that need compassion and care.

Lesson 7

Getting Your Own Support In Place

Start of day check in – When we support others, we need to acknowledge how WE are doing and take time to consider the support that we need to have in place, and to be willing to ask for it. This is a space to check in with where you are regarding your support.

Holding You

End of day check in – As you step out of holding space for others, this is an invitation to take a moment to check in with yourself, to notice how you are doing; to hold yourself with love.

Setting Intention For How You Want To Be

Start of day check in – Taking you into reflection of your intention, what drives you to support other people and in recognition of the particular gifts you have to offer.

Lesson 10

Reflect And Look After You

End of day/week check in – A reflection on how you are doing and what you need now in terms of rest and nourishment, as you take a break and look after you.
