Have you ever tried to be still but your mind can't rest?

We have a moment to yourself and quickly replace it with busyness The calm can be unsettling for some It takes training to embrace calm To sit and quiet and let your thoughts be your thoughts your body to relax And for peace to surround you For the next moment if you've struggled before try again This time don't allow yourself to think of the peace the calm the thoughts Allow yourself to sit and no matter how that minute went Allow yourself one more to try again This time bring your focus to your breath Inhale through your nose and out through your mouth Don't worry about your fleeting thoughts or how your body reacts to remaining still Breathe and embrace the calm I hope that pause was easier than the first and that you know Each moment of peace will become easier over time
