Instead of multi-tasking, do this. Allow yourself a moment to breathe, to focus inwardly. Multi-tasking has a purpose, but if your mind is racing, it's best to focus only on one thing. For this moment, allow this meditation and this moment be that thing.

Get comfortable,

Allowing your body to relax and your breathing to still.

You are here right now in a world where multitasking has become the norm.

Avoid the urge to multitask right now.

No matter what is going on around you,

Ignore the noises from the other rooms or outside.

Allow your eyes to gently close and be here because right now only one thing matters.

It's this meditation with yourself.

You decided that now is the time,

So let it be.

Give yourself a moment to breathe.

Take a deep breath in and release it.

Please continue your breaths,

Focusing on the breath and on this moment.

With every breath you breathe,

Know that sometimes being laser focused could be good.

To settle on that can be exactly what you need for the day.

Rushing to pick up another task,

To think of all the others behind,

But just this moment.

This moment that you've given yourself to breathe,

It's the only thing that matters.

So be here,

Focus on your breath.

As you close out this time,

Allow your breath to return to normal.

Allow your eyes to gently open and your focus to move on to the next thing.
