Each month we'll work with a new deck,
And this month I've chosen the Green Witches Oracle deck by Erin Murphy Hiscock.
This is a new deck for me,
And they are adorable.
They're all about natural magic,
And the images are just whimsical sketches,
And I love them.
I'm a total nature lover,
So that is what drew me to them.
And this month I'm called to leave a little space for integration.
So at the end of each reading,
We will take a few moments to just integrate the message and the energy of the message coming forth for us all.

Today's message is Soil.
Stability.
Simplicity.
Just because something is simple doesn't mean it's easy.
Soil is a basic part of a garden,
And it seems pretty straightforward.
But there's a complicated community of microbes and a balance of minerals and elements required for it to successfully support life.
It's easy to remember to tend growing plants,
But you also need to tend the health of the soil as well.
The basis of your garden and provide stability and insulation,
As well as varied source of nutrients plants need to thrive.
Soil is the ground under your feet,
Offering reassurance.
The soil card reminds you that it's always there for you.
But don't forget to check your connection to that foundation,
And don't turn your back on the basics.
Very grounding message today,
So as we take a moment to reflect,
Are you overcomplicating or overthinking something that is actually quite simple?
