Welcome!
I'm Candy Foster,
And I am an intuitive and a channel,
And I pull a card for The Collective each day.
Each month I choose a different deck,
And this month I've chosen the Yuletide Tarot from Christopher Hughes.
If you have not followed me yet,
Be sure to do so,
As you will get notifications every day when the daily reading is released,
Along with any other meditations,
Reiki sessions,
Etc.
,
That I have put out.
Thank you for joining,
And I hope you enjoy!
Okay,
Today's message is a big one.
We have a jumper today.
Our regular card is the star,
And ten of canes reversed.
The star.
Inspiration.
Hope.
Serenity.
This is a time of rest and peace,
After the challenging forces of the lightning tree have ceased.
The energy of the lightning strike,
And its ability to transform,
Is seen here through the radiance of the star that decorates the top of the tree.
Its light radiates down the tree,
And is taken up by a number of candles.
In turn,
These carry the guiding light of the star down to the base of the tree,
Where we find symbols of the season.
At a typical tabletop Yule tree,
We rediscover the unified power of trees,
And their ability to pull and draw people to them in the darkest times of winter.
Notice how the symbols of the mirror,
Arcana,
Are all present upon or near the tree,
Implying that the healing and cleansing qualities of this card seep into everyday reality and situations.
The other symbols are the presence of divine or cosmic forces that flow down from the star to take shape and form in our world.
The divination meaning.
It is time to rest and reflect on previous situations,
Particularly if they were traumatic.
The star is an inward journey to find healing and wisdom that can come from having been in sufferance of catabolic forces.
Be open to find spaces and places in which you can be nurtured and healed.
This is a card that asks you to stop and take care of yourself.
Rest and rediscover your inspiration.
The second card is the ten of canes,
Reversed.
Breaking point,
Desolation,
Death,
Failure,
Disaster.
Alas,
There is no sugar coating this one.
These candy canes are not forged of sugar and heat,
But of arsenic and acid.
This is the same snowman that we met in The Challenging Five,
But this time a new horror has befallen him.
This card of defeat and ruin is perhaps the worst card to be found in the entire deck,
For this truly is an ending and in some readings can imply the physical death of relationship or situation.
The snowman has been betrayed.
There is no coming back from it,
But in the tarot there is always the option of hope.
The sun will rise,
Resplendent and splendid,
On the dawn of the winter solstice.
Look to the horizon at the back of the card and you will see the first setting of new light.
So the reversed meaning is,
In this position you come to realize that the canes sticking in you are of your own making.
There is power in acknowledging this and knowing that only you can remove them.
It will be a painful process,
But a necessary one.
Acknowledge each one in turn,
Cast them aside and move towards the sunrise.
I hope this message was helpful today.
Namaste.
