Perhaps start by just noticing how your body is positioned into whatever is supporting you.
The ground,
The bed,
The chair,
The couch.
Feel the places where contact is being made.
And now some loving awareness being brought to your head,
Your face,
Your shoulders,
Your arms,
Your chest and belly,
Your upper and lower back,
Your glutes and hips,
Legs,
Hands and feet.
Softening into presence.
With each exhale an invitation to release what does not serve you.
And with each inhale,
Welcome compassion.
And now imagine yourself standing in front of a mirror.
You see your body,
Every curve,
Every line,
Every mark of your lived experience.
Instead of judgment,
Imagine smiling at her.
Loving her.
Appreciating her.
This is you.
And she is worthy of love.
